1 cup whipped heavy cream
1 pinch of pepper
1 pinch of salt
4 cups reduced sodium chicken broth 500 gms broccoli
250 gms reduced fat cheddar cheese


Bring the broccoli and broth to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes.

Add cheese cubes and heat on a low flame until the cheese melts. Add salt and pepper to taste. If the soup is too thick, add heavy cream to thin to desired consistency.
