With anorexic supermodels parading their flawless foundation-heavy skin, airbrushed actors endorsing skin care products and every second ad promoting anti-aging creams, we humans are vulnerable to the idea of skin that never wrinkles. After dealing with pimples in our teens, we begin searching for a cure to avoid fine lines and wrinkles in our adult lives. Since no one really believes that laughter really is the best medicine, let’s look at some other ways to ward off wrinkles. We give you a list of tips to keep your skin young, supple and wrinkle-free…

Summer fling: Heat, dust, sweat and now wrinkles; if you’re exposed to the sun for more than 20 minutes, you’re more likely to damage your skin resulting in aging and wrinkles. It’s best to stay away from the sun between 11am – 3pm when the sun is at its worst – harsh and unapologetic. Stay indoors or make sure to apply broad spectrum sunscreen before stepping out.

Sleep, your charming prince: There are two things you need to be aware of when you’re asleep: sufficient sleep and the right posture. If you don’t get adequate sleep, the cortisol hormone negatively affects skin cells.
