Zinda-Tina Hosted A Party In Honor Of The Retiring CG Prabhu Dayal

February 18 evening witnessed quite a hustle & bustle at the Muttontown home of Zinda Singh and wife Tina Shah Singh. Friends of the Singh family had gathered to bid farewell to a very dear friend, the retiring Consul General Prabhu Dayal. During his three hour plus long stay, Mr. Dayal spoke intimately with the gathered ladies and gentlemen.

He praised the Indian American community for the great work it was doing of promoting ties between India and the USA while making rapid strides in their chosen fields of occupation. He thanked the community for its love and affection and said he would always be around if he could in any way help.

Zinda- Tina Singh honored Mr. Dayal with a shawl for him and a gift for his lovely wife Chandini who could not come as she was busy “packing stuff” in preparation of making a move out of India House. Present on the occasion were a number of prominent Indian Americans, including heads of a few organizations of Indian American community.
