Dad fatally shot by teen on Brooklyn bus arrives home in Dominican Republic

NEW YORK (TIP): The body of Angel Rojas came home Wednesday, March 26 where his parents, other family members and friends crowded around and cried over the man who worked hard to support his mother, father, wife and two kids. Meanwhile his alleged killer, Kahton Anderson, 14, was indicted on seconddegree murder charges Wednesday.

The griefstricken family of the hardworking Dominican dad gunned down on a Brooklyn bus sobbed over his casket Wednesday in an emotional farewell as his accused 14-year-old killer was indicted on a murder charge.Angel Rojas, 39, was laid to rest in the late afternoon just outside Ceiba de Madera, the humble town in the northern part of the Dominican Republic where he grew up. His parents, Fidencia Ferrieras and Alberto Rojas, accompanied by the victim’s widow and two young children, spent the morning weeping over his body in a prolonged wake.
