NEW YORK (TIP): A freight train hauling garbage has derailed in New York City. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says service on a line of the Metro-North Railroad has been suspended. MTA spokeswoman Marjorie Anders says 10 train cars derailed on July 18 night between stations. The train was moving garbage from the city. The cause of the derailment is under investigation. All three crew members are unharmed.
