MAYLAND (TIP): This is the first time the Sikhs, under the banner of Sikhs for America, participated very enthusiastically in the 4th of July Parade.

The participating Sikhs wore the dupattas and turbans of the three colors of American flag- blue, white and red.

Young boys and girls performed attractive stunts, to the loud applause of the spectators.

The float presented glimpses of Sikh religion, culture and history.
