NEW YORK, NY (TIP): Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, USA announcedon Monday, April 28, Online Music Academy in affiliation with Shankar Mahadevan Music Academy, at the Consulate General of India, NYC in the presence of Consul General, NY, Ambassador Dnyaneshwar Mulay.

Another feather in Bhavan’s cap was the announcing of the 13 episode reality show Showcased by TV Asia named “SUR TAAL AUR SANSKAAR” Speaking at the occasion Ambassador Mulay appreciated the role played by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in upholding the Indian values and spreading Indian culture in USA. Chairman- Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and CEO TV Asia, Mr. H. R. Shah updated media about reality show and reiterated the support of TV Asia in this project.

Dr. Navin Mehta -President of Trustee Committee,Bhavan, reminded media of Bhavan’s Trend setting history and urged community to take advantage to groom second generation in proud tradition of Indian Music by Maestro himself. Mr. Sudhir Vaishnav, a dedicated bhavanite and instrumental in bringing this project around introduced Music Maestro Shankar Mahadevan.

In his response Mr. Mahadevan paid rich tribute to Bhavan, USA and Bhavan worldwide. He explained the layout of online music academy. While explaining the reality show Mr. Mahadevan assured media of his presence for judging the finale. He formally announced the association with chanting of Ganesh Stuti. Dr. Parveen Chopra-Director Bhavan, USA, while thanking everybody, conveyed special thanks to Indian Consulate for encouraging more and more community interactions and involvement. Mr. Deepak H.
