  • SARAH JESSICA PARKER INSPIRED BY STREET FASHION

SARAH JESSICA PARKER INSPIRED BY STREET FASHION

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker says her style is inspired by “women on the street”. The “Sex And The City” star’s fashion sense was slammed last week after she was spotted wearing stirrup tights, but she didn’t consider it to be a fashion faux pas.

“It’s been so cold in New York that bare legs seemed almost undoable…So, I started wearing tights, then I saw a woman in Seattle wearing stirrups with a pump and thought, ‘Maybe I’ll start wearing them with a strap shoe’,” contactmusic.com quoted Parker as saying. “I am often inspired by women on the street whose names I’ll never know,” she added. The 48-year-old fashion icon says she is unsure if the look will become a trend or not. “I don’t know if they’ll catch on,” Grazia magazine quoted her as saying.

  • Need For Speed

    Need For Speed

STORY: Tobey Marshall (Paul) and friends are struggling to keep their garage business from going broke. He reluctantly accepts an offer from wealthy ex-NASCAR driver Dino Brewster (Cooper) to soup up a Ford Mustang for a big price. However, Tobey soon finds himself in a race that’s about revenge as well as redemption.

REVIEW: Aaron Paul’s (of Breaking Bad fame) character Tobey is loosely reminiscent of Ryan Gosling’s look in ‘Drive’, minus the gore. He speaks very little and prefers to put the pedal to the metal. His friends Maverick (Mescudi), Joe Peck (Rodriguez), Pete (Gilbertson), Finn (Malek) and him make a living by modifying and racing muscle cars.

But the money’s barely enough, so when Paul’s former rival Dino pays them a visit, he offers Tobey 25% to trick out the Mustang, valued at $2million. While Tobey’s pals are incredulous about the idea, he is more pragmatic and accepts, knowing that the money could really come in handy for the garage. They do the modification so well that an exotic cars investor called Julia Maddon (Poots), whom they meet at a party, is impressed and says she’d buy it for $3 million if it can exceed 230 mph.

When the car clocks 234 mph, the deal is done. But simmering tensions between suave bad boy Dino and righteous Tobey come to a head during a race when Dino, Pete and Tobey race three illegally imported Koenigsegg Agera supercars. Tobey is double crossed by Dino and the former ends up serving a two-year prison sentence.

When Tobey leaves the slammer, all he desires is vengeance – preferably on a racetrack and in fourth gear. The setting for this ‘battle royale’ is the big ticket De Leon race organized by a reclusive individual called Monarch (Keaton). Although light on plot and performances, the film delivers exactly what it promises. Devoid of CGI, the races you see are real and the stunts, really well done. Apart from Paul’s promising performance, it’s the supercharged cars that tear up the asphalt and steal the show in this one.

  • AISHWARYA, SUSHMITA SEN TOGETHER ON SCREEN?

AISHWARYA, SUSHMITA SEN TOGETHER ON SCREEN?

Soon after Aishwarya Rai gave birth to her daughter Aaradhya, speculations about the actress’ comeback have often been suggested in many entertainment dailies. She has reportedly shown interest in adman Prahlad Kakkad’s directorial debut, Happy Anniversary, where, if all goes by the plan, she will be seen starring opposite her real life husband Abhishek Bachchan.

The duo is currently going through the script of the film, to be produced by Gaurang Doshi, and is soon expected to sign on the dotted line. In a recent development, Kakkad has approached Sushmita Sen to play a substantial supporting role in the same film. A few days ago, he met the actress and according to sources, she has loved the part offered. Confirming this development Kakkad told Mirror, “If all goes well, we should have Sushmita in Happy Anniversary.

It will be a pleasure to work with her.” One of the most talked-about cold wars of Bollywood was that of Sushmita and Aishwarya’s. It dates back to 1994, when Sushmita won the Miss India crown beating the strongfavourite Aishwarya and went on to win the Miss Universe title, while Aishwarya, the first runners-up, was adjudged Miss World. But according to a source close to the film, the rivalry is long over. “If both are satisfied with the length and quality of their respective roles, they won’t allow their personal equation to come in the way,” a source said. Kakkad will give Sushmita the script next week.

“She wants to read it and judge the role for herself. Fair enough!” he quips. Her character is that of a woman caught in a bad marriage who eventually breaks free. Aishwarya’s character starts off as a 21-year old and the story unfolds over the next eight years. The film will later also see her pregnant with twins. Happy Anniversary deals with marital issues and will be largely shot in South Africa. Aishwarya is currently trying to lose a few more kilos before facing the camera. And according to a friend, could start shooting for a Mani Ratnam film soon.

  • I FEEL VERY FREE WITH VARUN: NARGIS FAKHRI

I FEEL VERY FREE WITH VARUN: NARGIS FAKHRI

Nargis Fakhri says she doesn’t have many friends in Mumbai. “Maybe like three, if I had to say. But that’s okay. I have made Mumbai or Bollywood my office; I have to understand that I am a stranger, though many years have passed. So, I treat it as my office and the people like my colleagues.

Though we say, ‘Oh, we are friends’, we aren’t because we haven’t built a proper foundation,” the actress says. Does she count Varun Dhawan, her coactor in upcoming Main Tera Hero, among her few friends? Nargis explains, “He is as honest a person as I am. I feel very free with him. If I say something weird, he will either save me or say something sillier. He would be a nice friend, but let’s see. When Varun is free, he has to spend time with his family and his real friends.”

  • Ragini MMS 2

    Ragini MMS 2

STORY: Ghosts from the past resurface while the infamous ‘Ragini MMS’ scandal (from the prequel) is being filmed as a story for celluloid.

REVIEW: Hold onto your pants as Erotica meets Eerie in a sequel that traces Ragini’s haunted past. Rewind: Uday and Ragini’s dirty, horny weekend in an isolated house turned into a horrifying threesome – when a ghost interrupted their sexcapade.

Uday disappeared and Ragini landed up in a mental asylum. Now the sequel begins. Sleazy, over-zealous filmmaker Rocks (Parvin) is so ‘turned on’ by the story that he wants to adopt it for celluloid. He casts seductress Sunny Leone (played by Sunny Leone) in the lead because he’s impressed with her ‘body’ of work (perv!).

He chooses the actual location of the ‘Ragini’ incident for the film and moves his crew into the haunted haveli. There, in between ‘knicks’ (undies) and ‘knocks’ (uh huh!), smooches, sizzling showers and dirty games – the ghost turns up. Patel’s ‘Ragini MMS 2’, pitched as a ‘horrex’ (horror+sex) film, offers screams, sighs and moans (read: erotic!), delivering more sexual delights than horrifying drama.

Picture this: Sunny fakes an orgasm (really now?), talks dirty talk in bed and lip-locks with a woman (want more?). Well, there’s humour too with telly actor Maddy’s (Karan) lusty longings and Monali’s (Sandhya) ‘verny’ angrezi which goes – ‘shits ya’ and ‘so worst ya’. The film provides the usual creepy cliches – creaking windows, ghostly shadows and bedraggled bhoots. There are a few spooky moments, but fewer leapout- of-your-seat scenes.

Sunny looks deathly desirable and plays the sexed-up baby doll with abandon. While her ‘act’ is good, her ‘performance’ doesn’t really climax. Yet, she gives us a ‘drool-worthy’ adult-horror film – one of its kind for Bollywood. Parvin and Karan are entertaining, Saahil is average, Divya (as a psychiatrist) stays trapped in an unconvincing role. For horror-buffs this might not be ‘spookilicious’ enough, but those looking for a ‘sun-sunny’ weekend, go lap it up!

Eva Longoria feels sexier now than 10 yrs back

She told People magazine that she feels more intelligent about a lot of other things than ten years ago, and that makes her feel sexy. The actress has been dating millionaire boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston since November.

  • 3 DAYS TO KILL

    3 DAYS TO KILL

STORY: CIA agent Ethan Renner (Costner) wants to retire and reconnect with his wife Christine (Nielsen) and daughter Zoey (Steinfeld). Before he can, he is tasked with one final dangerous mission. REVIEW: McG has many music videos as well as films like Terminator: Salvation and Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle to his credit.

Here, he ropes in Costner for a surprisingly fun flick, written by Luc Besson and Adi Hasak. The film manages to combine elements of camp with a vamp CIA assassin called Vivi Delay (Heard), father-daughter bonding, teenage angst, humour and car chases down cobbled streets and Parisian pavements. Renner finds out that he has terminal cancer one day. Faced with this eventuality, he moves back to Paris where his wife and daughter live, to spend some quality time with them.

His Parisian apartment, however, is inhabited by a family of African squatters. So, he has no choice but to move in with Christine till the squatters move out after a stipulated time. While Renner tries to get reacquainted with Zoey, Vivi tracks him down near a market one afternoon, and makes him an offer he can’t refuse – nab a dangerous arms trafficker called The Wolf (Sammel) and his lieutenant called The Albino (Lemarquis). In return, she offers him the elixir of life – a potion delivered in a syringe which looks like it was nicked from a kid’s chemistry set.

Combining a catwoman bodysuit with over-the-top innuendoes – suggestively straddling his lap while injecting him with the medicine, lascivious movements, puns about making him feel good – these aren’t the only things that make Renner’s heart race. The medicine too gets his heartbeat up and Vivi tells him that generous slugs of vodka are the antidote to that. The villains look like stock Cold War era villains handpicked from the 70s. It all leads to a showdown between Renner and The Wolf at the unlikeliest of events. Lighthearted while managing to mix a torture scene with a recipe for spaghetti sauce, the film’s myriad elements come together with a deft touch, without losing the plot.

  • Bewakoofiyaan

    Bewakoofiyaan

STORY: A young couple’s perfect love story turns upside down when recession leaves the boy jobless. Moreover, he has to win over his lady-love’s terror-dad to marry her. Will his out-of-job status leave him out-of-love too?

REVIEW: ‘Romance in times of recession’ can be a buzzkill. When currency crash leads to heartbreaks and house-breaks. And the youth are left with bankrupt dreams. Morbid, huh? Hold on … this one is far from a depressive rich-girl, poor-boy plot; instead, ‘Bewakoofiyan’ is a light-hearted story of how an out-ofwork lover-boy signs on for a full-time job of making his love-life work. Mohit (Ayushmann), a successful senior airline marketing executive, is madly in love with a hip banker, designer damsel, Mayera (Sonam).

To burst the bubble in this ‘all things good-looking’ love story, enter – sullenfaced VK Sehgal (Rishi), Mayera’s deadly dad (retired IAS officer who could never make big bucks). He ruthlessly rejects Mohit as the “bloody fatichar” who can’t afford his darlin’ shopaholic daughter’s haute fashionable fantasies. He puts their pyar-on-probation with targets, tests, timelines, et al. To make matters worse, Mohit gets the ‘pink slip’ (fashionable in times of recession) and Sehgal gives the bechara bankrupt boy a tough run for his money (literally!).

This funnily leads to a series of lies, traps and troubles for the twosome which has to prove that their new-age love is not as ‘plastic’ as their platinum credit cards. Picture this: They party hard, she shops even harder. They guzzle cocktails and swipe credit cards till his bank balance dips to a 3-digit number. Never mind, love can feed the hungry. Really??!! Nupur Ashthana’s rom-com has its moments; the coolest scenes are with Sehgal and his to-be son-in-law. The film needed to invest in wittier writing (Habib Faisal), more chemistry and a tad more comedy to make it a heartwarming love-story.

The couple lack chemistry, and they fight and make-up quicker than a quickie. Even the music is unexciting. This isn’t Sonam’s best, but she looks every bit the fashionista (sizzles in a bikini too) and breezes through the film (stilettos on!). Ayushmann is charming but desperately needs to step out of his comfort zone. It is a sheer joy to watch Rishi Kapoor, who makes even stupidity seem delightful. ‘Bewakoofiyaan’ has its khoobiyaan but mostly it has majbooriyaan where the story is concerned. It tells you not to overspend. Yet the script is not as ‘penny wise’, gettit?

NICOLE KIDMAN MAY BE NEXT VICTIM OF ‘PRINCESS CURSE’

Following her friend Naomi Watts’ ill-fated role playing Princess Diana, could Nicole Kidman become the next victim of the princess curse, as her new film ‘Grace of Monaco’ is now stuck in limbo.

While the film is scheduled to open the Cannes Film Festival on May 14, Kidman’s friend, Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, has effectively dropped the project, taking it off his company’s slate of north American releases for this year fater having a dispute with the movie’s director, Olivier Dahan, the Syndey Morning Herald reported.

The film has already been delayed twice; it was originally intended to be released last November. Dahan told French newspaper Liberation last year that The Weinstein Company, which owns the film’s US distribution rights, had been demanding a ”sanitised” final cut and referred to two versions of the film – ”Harvey’s and mine”. Apparently, Weinstein’s version chopped 22 minutes off Dahan’s version.

  • AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY

    AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY

STORY: A gripping melodrama about the lives of the Westons, who gravitate back to their Oklahoma hometown, the film is about the interpersonal relationships of this family during a crisis situation.

REVIEW: An old country house sets the scene for the proceedings in this movie, where Violet Weston (Streep) raised her three daughters – the aggressive Barbara (Roberts), the meek Ivy (Nicholson) and the flirty Karen (Lewis). Violet’s husband Beverly (Shepard) is an aging poet. Barbara has a pill addiction and is in the early stages of mouth cancer. One sweltering day, Beverly goes missing-presumed-dead. Distraught, Violet calls her sister Mattie Fae (Matindale) and brotherin- law Charles Aiken (Cooper) as well as her daughters.

The three sisters arrive. Ivy is single but Karen brings her latest boyfriend Steve (Mulroney) and Barbara gets estranged hubbie Bill (McGregor). Although no one knows that they’re estranged. A few days pass, after which the county sheriff shows up with the bad news: Beverly’s body has been found in the bottom of a lake. After the body is correctly identified by Violet, the family find themselves having to deal with each other in a way that most of them seem unprepared to do.

What follows is a series of interactions between family members that takes the term ‘family drama’ to a new level. The sleazy Steve, for example, tries to get into Barbara and Bill’s 14-year-old daughter Jean’s (Breslin) pants. Ivy tells Barbara that she secretly is in love with Little Charles (Cumberbatch, playing Mattie’s son). The film is full of angry exchanges and confrontations, mostly between the drugged-up Violet and Barbara, who gives as good as she gets.

At regular intervals, various crazy secrets of the family emerge. Streep stands out as the unbalanced matriarch. Roberts too is someone to watch out for. In fact, there’s not one weak link in the portrayals of this train-wreck of a family. The music by Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel) helps add to the dramatic tension in the film, generously laced as it is with dark humour and plot twists aplenty.

  • SONAKSHI CROONS FOR PARROT

    SONAKSHI CROONS FOR PARROT

The animated musical Rio 2 has Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg lending their voices for the birds, Jewel and Blu. And Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan have been roped in by producers Fox Star Studios to parrot for the lovable macaws in the dubbed Hindi version.

While voicing the delightfully funny lines, Sonakshi ended up crooning a few too. According to a source, “The dubbing happened last Saturday. It took only a couple of hours and Sonakshi had a real blast. And during an interesting party sequence she sang a few lines too.”

When contacted the actress confirmed the news saying, “I really enjoyed dubbing for the film and I felt that both Imran and I were perfect for the characters of Blu and Jewel. There’s a scene where the two macaws are dancing and singing so they made us sing a few lines too. It was a novel experience but super fun because I love singing.

I’d have loved to sing more but unfortunately, I’m just a bathroom singer.” The sequel to the 2011 film will open in theatres on April 11. It releases in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The comedy unveils in the Brazilian city of Rio De Janero and will see Blu and Jewel, along with their three kids, leave placid domesticity behind for a journey to the Amazon rain forest.

  • QUEEN

    QUEEN

STORY: Queen is an ignorant Delhi girl who finds herself on a ‘honeymoon’ all by herself. What happens along the way forms the crux of this sweet, sensitive, fun social drama. REVIEW: The action begins in a middle-class Delhi household.

The father is a mithaiwala; his daughter Rani Mehra or Queen (Kangana Ranaut) is naive, even appears stupid in today’s context, a virgin, waiting to get married. Destiny has other designs for her. Que sera sera, without divulging too much, you can safely cut to her taking off to Paris, all alone.

The start of Queen’s journey bears resemblance to that of Sridevi’s in ‘English Vinglish’. This Delhi girl is as nervous on her flight to Europe as that Pune housewife was when she was flying to America. Their dumbstruck expressions on the flight and on discovering the magic of their foreign destination, their Indian attire, the dilemmas of what to eat and whom to speak with seem identical. However, that’s just a brief resemblance. Otherwise Rani’s journey of self-discovery charts its own course.

In Paris, Rani meets the long-legged, dusky Indo- French girl Vijaylakshmi (Lisa Haydon) who befriends her, giving her lessons on love, lust and life. Slowly, Queen’s low self-esteem gives way to supreme confidence. Before you know it, she’s on a train to the sex capital of the world. At a hostel in Amsterdam, Rani shares a room with three men. And this motley group goes on to forge a bond. Soon, you are as engrossed in their friendship as she is. Kangana Ranaut’s performance is outstanding.

Whether she’s crestfallen or ecstatic, selling golgappas or naively buying sex-toys, hiding her infatuation for an Italian restaurateur or showing deep dejection about her wimpy beau Vijya (Rajkummar Rao), she’s a class act. Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao lend good support. But this film belongs to its director Vikas Bahl. This is his first solo outing. Earlier he co-directed the National- Award winning ‘Chillar Party’ with Nitesh Tiwari. Bollywood should blow bugles in his honour.

  • Shaadi Ke Side Effects

    Shaadi Ke Side Effects

STORY: Sid & Trisha have moved beyond dating days. They’ve survived multiple lovers’ tiffs and overcome PMS (read: pre-marriage syndrome). Bravo! Now they are a happily married couple. Wait! Only until a ‘pregnant’ pause changes it all.

REVIEW: He says it. She disagrees. He reacts. She overacts. He makes mistakes, he says sorry. She makes mistakes, ‘he’ says sorry. So there! Even geniuses like Socrates and Einstein couldn’t crack a fool-proof plan to a ‘happy marriage’. Even novel cosmic concepts like Men are from Mars and Women are from all over the place (lol!) can’t explain this ‘heavenly’ intervention. So then? Let’s take a look at Saket Chaudhary’s insightful story of shaadi and its shocking effects. Sid’s (Farhan) married life seems to be rocking with his adventurous wife Trisha (Vidya), until a chance ‘unprotected’ moment of pleasure lands them with a ‘bundle’ of unwanted problems.

He puts his musical ambitions to rest, from composing jingles to singing lullabies for his little girl (even breaking into ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ – Wake up, Guns ‘n’ Roses! Hilarious!). Trisha turns into an idiosyncratic, full-time mommy and Sid is left missing their lovely ‘twosome’ life. Pillow talk turns to potty talk and spousal spasms crawl into their shaadi, leading Sid to seek advice from bro-in-law (Ram Kapoor, lending good support). Does the quick-fix save-the-shaadi solution create more cracks, or stoke the chemistry? The best part is that Sid and Trisha don’t ‘fake’ it.

Ever! They are believable characters living real life situations. Yet, their quirkiness leaves you with delightful guffaws. Saket’s story (sequel to ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’) pulls everything together skillfully, with conversations that turn into epigrams and chemistry that exudes wit and lovability. There’s nothing schmaltzy or superficial about it. The director strikes a fine balance between humour and emotion in this slice-of-marriage story.

The first half takes a while to catch up, but the dialogues (Arshad Sayed) provide ample laughs, while giving wisdom for wedded bliss. Vir Das in his funky avatar is a riot. Vidya is brilliant and hits a high note in the emotional scenes. The film belongs to Farhan who stuns you with his straight-faced witticisms and plethora of expressions that amuse and move dramatically. Single or married, this film will have more of a ‘special effect’ than ‘side effect’ on you.

  • Irremediable Indian inequalities

    Irremediable Indian inequalities

Inder Malhotra cites the example of frequent parole to Sanjay Dutt to pinpoint Indian inequalities

All honor to the Bombay High Court for putting its foot down on the ease with which actor Sanjay Dutt, a convict for his role in the horrendous 1993 serial blasts in the western metropolis, has been able to get extension after extension of his parole, initially granted only for a month.

The honorable judges have underscored that since going to Yerwada jail last year, he had spent 40 per cent of the time out of it because he was earlier allowed a month’s furlough. Obviously, all this has happened simply because of his clout and influence while the parole applications of sons of a lesser God have been gathering dust in one government office or the other.

No wonder the court directed the state government to set up a committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to revise the existing rules for parole and furlough so that all prisoners could be treated fairly and equitably. Of course, no one knows how long the revision of the rules would take, especially at election time, and how effective the revised regulations would be.

Meanwhile, under the existing rules that require only a favorable report by the police and its approval by the Divisional Commissioner, privileged convicts would go on getting a bonanza of paroles and furloughs. While the hearing of the PIL on the parole issue was in progress, Sanjay Dutt intervened, through his lawyer, to plead: “I am not alone to be on parole”.

He was both profoundly wrong and partially right at the same time. He was utterly wrong because, according to the court’s record, 600 applications for parole had been pending for various lengths of time while the film actor’s parole was being extended from month to month. As if this wasn’t enough the Nagpur Bench of the High Court was driven to making some justifiably sharp remarks on the subject. Another convict in the same case, imprisoned in Nagpur, had petitioned the court that his daughter had died some time ago but the authorities were neither giving him parole nor denying it, thus dragging their feet.

“Is there no humane consideration in such matters”, observed the judges, “or is such consideration reserved only for film stars?” And Sanjay Dutt is right only to the extent that in that he is not alone in enjoying the kind of parole privileges available to him. Others belonging to his class are doing equally well. For instance, a convicted murderer serving a life sentence in Delhi’s Tihar jail, a son of a powerful politician, also manages to be out of prison either on parole or on medical grounds whenever he likes.

He is often seen attending marriages or dining in fivestar hotels. All protests against this state of affairs have been of no avail so far. It must be added that after his first trial this young man was set free. Only after huge protests in Delhi on behalf of the young lady he had shot dead a retrial was ordered. What an irony it is that at a time when even the richest and most powerful countries have woken up to the problem of great and growing inequalities and are trying to do something about it, the “Secular and Socialist” Republic of India – to borrow words from the amended Preamble of the Constitution — is a glaring exception.

Here the governing doctrine among the privileged classes is that inequalities are meant to be preserved, and indeed expanded further. Nothing should happen to “people like us” for any reason whatsoever, and to hell with the rest. They deserve whatever they get. To be sure there has been some criticism of the too frequent paroles to Dutt, but among the movers and shakers of Indian society his critics have been denounced, even abused roundly for being “insensitive”.

“Don’t these idiots realize that Sanjay’s wife is suffering from TB and needs his presence by her side?” said a socialite the other day. When asked whether the same consideration would apply to other convicts, she scornfully added: “They don’t matter”. The truth is that what is going on now is a relatively low-key repetition of the “our-poor-Sanju” lament that rent the sky exactly a year ago when the final judgment on the 1993 outrage was delivered by the Supreme Court 20 years after the ghastly blasts.

There was a howl by not only movie moguls and Sanjay’s fans but also from crème de la crème of Indian elite demanding that the “great actor” must not be sent to jail even for a day; the sentence – mandatory in the case of his offence, according to the apex court — must be cancelled or commuted. In this cacophony, nothing else about the horrifying case was discussed, not even the inability of the Indian state to bring to book the mastermind of the massive slaughter and destruction of property, Dawood Ibrahim, who was merrily strutting around in Pakistan most of the time, while making short visits to Dubai.

A former judge of the Supreme Court, then heading the Press Council, spent most of his time pleading for the remission of the punishment meted out to “Poor Sanju”. He wrote letters to the Governor of Maharashtra and the Government of India demanding that under no circumstances should “Sanju” be sent to prison.

Almost all the movie moguls of Bollywood and “Sanjay fans” joined the outcry. One particularly loud boss in Indian filmdom argued that he had “reprimanded Sanjay sharply” and that should be enough! The most ridiculous argument for the immediate grant of pardon to Dutt came from the high and mighty among the elite. The famous actor, they said, had become a symbol of “Gandhigiri”. Therefore, he should be left free to continue playing this useful role.

That was when some people were enraged enough to ask: “When Sanjay was visiting Dawood Ibrahim and his gang regularly and bringing in and storing deadly weapons for them, was he spreading the Mahatma’s message?” They also underscored that of the weapons brought in for D-company’s murderers, the actor had kept to himself three AK-56s. Having failed to get the sentence passed on Sanjay Dutt remitted, the movers and shakers are now busy ensuring that he stays out of jail for the maximum possible time by hook or by crook. Under these circumstances, please forget Article 14 of the Constitution that ensures every citizen complete equality.
