Actress Deepika Padukone recently made a surprising revelation about her personality, uncovering the reason behind her introverted nature.
The ‘Fighter’ actress took to her Instagram and reposted a video suggesting that intelligent people tend to enjoy being alone and are naturally inclined towards introversion.
In the clip, an Instagram user is heard saying, “Here’s how you know somebody is intelligent. This is a simple theory and observation. The more intelligent someone is, the more they struggle with social interactions. Or, as he put it, the more intelligent someone is, the more at risk they are of becoming antisocial. Intelligent people like to be alone. They tend to be natural introverts. In fact, they have a small, select group of people they trust, and they feel a bit uncomfortable when surrounded by others, especially strangers.”
Reposting the video, Deepika wrote, “Aah! I have always wondered why I am such an introvert… Now I know.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Piku’ actress recently shared a delightful moment with her ‘Fighter ‘co-star Anil Kapoor and actor Kartik Aaryan at a public event in Mumbai. Deepika and Anil, known for their friendly chemistry, were spotted engaging in a cheerful conversation and exchanging pleasantries. The event also saw the presence of actor Jackie Shroff. In a video shared by a fan page, Deepika was seen giving Kartik a warm hug.

When Sanjay Dutt’s dying fan left Rs 72 crore property for him
In 2018, a die-hard Sanjay Dutt fan, Nisha Patil, left her entire property, valued at Rs 72 crore, to the actor. This grand gesture of the fan left Dutt shocked. Nisha, a 62-year-old homemaker from Mumbai, had reportedly battled a terminal illness and instructed her bank to transfer all her property to the actor.
The police shared news with Sanjay Dutt, which had left him overwhelmed. Despite the grand gesture, Sanjay Dutt chose not to accept the property.
He expressed his gratitude but clarified that he did not know Nisha Patil personally. His lawyer confirmed that the actor had no intention of claiming the Rs 72 crore property and he would follow legal procedures to return it to Nisha’s family.
Sanjay Dutt stated, “I will not be claiming anything. I did not know Nisha and I am very overwhelmed by the entire incident to speak about it.”
On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Telugu film Double iSmart. He was seen in a pivotal role in Thalapathy Vijay-starrer Leo. He will next be seen in upcoming project, Baaghi 4, where he will star with Tiger Shroff. The action film is expected to hit theatres on September 5, 2025. -

Shraddha Kapoor to star in all 8 films of horror comedy universe
In January this year, movie-buffs got a pleasant surprise when filmmaker Dinesh Vijan announced 8 new films in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe along with their release dates. This was great news for fans, most of whom were still under the spell of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s blockbuster hit film Stree 2 (2024). 2025 will begin with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Thama and Shakti Shalini, followed by Bhediya 2, Chamunda, Stree 3, Maha Munjya, Pehla Mahayudh and Doosara Mahayudh. While there have been rumours about the star cast of all films, recent buzz suggests that all the horror comedies will have one star in common— Shraddha.
So far, the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe has released 4 films, out of which Munjya (2024) was the only horror comedy which did not star Shraddha Kapoor. The actor was the leading lady of Stree (2018) as well as Stree 2, and even joined Varun Dhawan for a song in Bhediya (2022). Last year, Varun won hearts with his cameo in Stree 2 when he saved Shraddha in the climax of her film. So fans were obviously expecting Shraddha to reunite with Varun in Bhediya 2, before stepping in the shoes of her beloved character for Stree 3. But a report shared by The Nod, which recently took the actor’s interview, mentioned that Shraddha will be a part of all 8 films in the horror comedy universe. -

Emergency: Kangana Ranaut brings ‘epic saga’ of Indira Gandhi to life but others fail to deliver
Kangana Ranaut is back on the big screen, but this time not only with her acting stint; she has taken over the chair of director for the first time. Her much-awaited biographical political drama ‘Emergency’ is out in cinemas after much delay. If you are willing to watch Emergency, then it is highly recommended that you read this detailed review of the film beforehand. The movie is touted to be a political biopic of Indira Gandhi and, most briefly, of the time when she imposed an Emergency in the country in 1975. However, the story of the film begins with her childhood time, and with bookmarking a few major events of the country, the plot reaches the era of her prime ministership. The film revolves mostly around her struggle to liberate Bangladesh and post her imposition of Emergency in the country. However, other incidents, including her assassination, are covered in the film in a gist.
On acting front, the film solely belongs to Kangana Ranaut, who portrayed the role of former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on the screen. If you belong to those times when you somewhere saw Indira Gandhi on the screen or heard her on the radio, then you are bound to connect with the time and take a trip down memory lane. However, many other important characters of the political timeframe fail to impress, but Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw (played by Milind Soman) will steal your hearts even with his less screen time. Other characters can be called ‘okayish’ but not that impactful.
Apart from acting the most important role that Kangana had was the film’s direction. Since it was her directorial debut and some people have a notion of considered a biopic an easy one to begin with and so was the case. However, she perfectly managed the easy job. Of course, the tough one with acting BUT the first half of the film might be a bit boring for some as it begins when she was a teenager, watching her father in a political scenario, her struggle to get into the limelight. Still, the main ‘Dhamaka’ of the film begins when the story enters the time of the Indo-Pak War of 1971 (Bangladesh Liberation).
The movie is fine, and one with an eagerness to know about the intensity of the time during the Emergency must give it a try. And, if you are a political analyst and enthusiast, then one must give the movie a chance. It won’t give you goosebumps throughout but will surely showcase the ‘darkest chapter’ after India’s Independence in front of you with a blend of Indira Gandhi’s personal and political life till her death. Overall, the movie ‘Emergency’ deserves three out of 5 stars for Kangana’s effort in all segments. -

Kangana Ranaut says it was a mistake directing Emergency, choosing theatrical release
Kangana Ranaut has opened up about the controversies plaguing her first solo directorial venture, Emergency. In a new interview, the actor has listed the many ‘wrong choices’ she made while making this film, including choosing to direct it herself and opting for a theatrical release instead of going straight to streaming.
In a conversation with News18, Kangana said she was ‘scared’ by the delay in the film’s release when the CBFC refused to certify it for months. “I felt that it was a wrong decision to release it in theatres. I thought I could have gotten a better deal on OTT. I also wouldn’t have had to go through censorship then and my film wouldn’t have been dissected. I didn’t know what all they (the CBFC) would remove and let us keep,” she said. The Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) is a body that certifies all films releasing in India, deeming them fit for public consumption. It reports to the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
The actor-turned-filmmaker added that she made many other ‘wrong choices’during the film’s production. She explained, “I felt that I made the wrong choices on many levels: firstly, wanting to direct this film. I took it for granted that even though we don’t have a Congress government… I previously talked about the movie Kissa Kursi Ka. Nobody has seen that film to date and back then, they burnt all the prints. Also, nobody made films about Mrs Gandhi. Upon watching Emergency, today’s generation will be surprised to think how she became like that; after all, she became PM three times. I underestimated things and thought that I would be able to get away by making a film on Emergency.” Emergency stars Kangana as PM Indira Gandhi and details the final few years of her tenure, showing the Emergency and Operation Bluestar. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Ashok Chhabra, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair and Satish Kaushik in key roles. After a long delay, Emergency will be releasing in cinemas on January 17. -
