Salman Khan hit-and-run case: Hearing today

New Delhi: Salman Khan’s 2002 hit-and-run case hearing is scheduled to take place today. The actor, who was asked to be present in court, is expected to be there during the session.

In the previous hearing that took place on 27 March, the actor had stated that he was not driving during the salman Khanaccident and denied being under the influence of alcohol on the night of the accident.

Earlier, last week, Khan’s driver Ashok Singh took responsibility stating that he was driving the car. He also added that he lost control of the car because the tyre of the white Toyota Land Cruiser burst.

The actor is facing charges of IPC Sec. 304(II) – which attracts a 10-year jail sentence, Sec. 279, Sec. 337, Sec. 338, Sec. 427, and under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.

Let us wait and watch if the long – run case does come to an end deciding the fate for Salman Khan-“ The Dabbang “.
