PLAINVIEW, N.Y. (TIP):  Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) proudly joined the Plainview-Old Berthage school community on Tuesday, Feb. 10 for their Board of Education Student Recognition Ceremony. During the ceremony, he presented Nassau County Legislature Citation to the Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team, who completed a 17–0 season and earned the program’s first-ever AAA Long Island Championship and a second consecutive County title.

“Seeing so many talented and accomplished students from the guidance, English, art, music, mathematics and business departments being recognized for their achievements fills me with tremendous optimism for our future,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “As a lifelong Plainview resident, a graduate of this district, and a father whose children’s lives were enriched tremendously by their experiences in these schools, it was especially gratifying to honor the girls’ volleyball team for their historic run. Congratulations to everyone – keep making us proud!”
