“A stirring reminder of the central importance of virtue in a free society. Sen. Booker offers a roadmap not only for realizing the ideals of a more perfect union, but also — and perhaps more importantly — for carrying out the day-to-day practicalities of governance, activism, and community-building. Inspiring, moving, and beautifully written, ‘Stand’ is mandatory reading for all Americans who seek inspiration in a country and world beset by constant crisis.” — Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Alphonse Fletcher University Professor, Harvard University
U.S. SENATOR CORY BOOKER releases his highly awaited new book, ‘STAND,’ and the launch of a nationwide book tour. The tour will begin with a special book talk at the New Jersey Performing Arts Centre (NJPAC) on Sunday, March 22nd, at 2:00 P.M., before STAND’s official national release on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Senator Booker will be joined at NJPAC by acclaimed musician and philanthropist ***Jon Bon Jovi for an engaging conversation designed to inspire hope, unity, and positive action. This unique event offers attendees the rare opportunity to gain insights from Senator Booker and Jon Bon Jovi about America’s future, the
importance of shared values, moral courage, and our collective responsibility as citizens. *** Note: this is not a musical performance.
This is an opportunity not to miss witnessing an inspiring conversation that aims to spark hope, encourage, unity, and empower all Americans to stand together for a better tomorrow.
“With energy, insight, and a passion for the best of the American tradition, Cory Booker has issued a compelling and invaluable summons to what Lincoln called our ‘better angels.’ In an hour of political and moral crisis, ‘Stand’ not only illuminates the problem but points us toward solutions. This is an important, suprapartisan work that deserves careful consideration by all Americans who long for a ceasefire to the total war our politics has become.” — Jon Meacham, author of ‘And There Was Light’
“’Stand’ captured my mind and my heart. Through Booker’s gifted storytelling, a series of virtues essential to our civil society are made concrete by tales of individuals who stood up in times of danger and adversity. These powerful stories evoke our emotions. They inspire us. They give us strength.” — Doris Kearns Goodwin, author of “Leadership: In Turbulent Times”
Centered on ‘STAND,’ Senator Booker’s book tour will feature stirring personal reflections and compelling stories of leadership that will challenge Americans to reclaim our national story and work together to redeem the American dream. At a moment of deep division and uncertainty, STAND offers a hopeful and urgent call to action rooted in enduring American ideals.
In STAND, Senator Booker argues that principles such as justice, compassion, courage, and civic engagement are not luxuries — they are vital, strategic tools essential to our survival and success as a nation. By wielding these tools together, he shows how Americans can reclaim a sense of common cause and help change the course of the country’s history.
Through inspiring and actionable insights, STAND speaks to Americans from all walks of life, offering a roadmap for leadership that is both values-driven and results-oriented. The book tour will feature conversations, readings, and audience engagement focused on how individuals and communities can translate shared ideals into meaningful action.
