The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America’s (ABAA) New York International Antiquarian Book Fair (NYIABF) – https://nyantiquarianbookfair.com returns for its 66th annual event, April 30-May 3, 2026 at the Park Avenue Armory, 643 Park Avenue (between 66th & 67th Streets), New York, NY.

Widely regarded as the world’s premier antiquarian book fair, the event brings together more than 170 leading exhibitors from around the globe, transforming the Armory into a temporary cabinet of curiosities spanning centuries of art, literature, science, design, fashion, gastronomy, philosophy, children’s books and beyond. Visitors encounter everything from accessible finds starting around $50 to museum-quality first editions, manuscripts, maps, and multimillion-dollar rarities.

Once a year, exhibitors from across the world convene at New York City’s historic Park Avenue Armory, presenting a trove of materials including rare books, maps, illuminated manuscripts, fine bindings, illustrations, historical documents, photographs, prints, memorabilia, and ephemera. The fair’s specialties encompass art, design, popular culture, science, medicine, literature, history, gastronomy, fashion, music, philosophy, and much more.

This book fair is officially sanctioned by the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. This means that the consumer can rely upon the experience and professionalism of participating dealers and the authenticity of the items available for purchase. Simply stated, all books, manuscripts and related material have been carefully examined for completeness and bibliographic accuracy.

This year’s edition continues to expand its reach with a dynamic mix of returning specialists and new dealers, alongside a growing Ambassador Program that connects rare books to contemporary collectors and creatives across disciplines. Ambassadors include Founding Ambassador Jesse Paris Smith, Alexandre Assouline, Sasha Bonet, Isabella Boylston, Adam Eli, Meredith Graves, Levi Higgs, Connor Holloway, Sarah Hoover, Sarah McNally, Camille Okhio, Karah Preiss and Emma Roberts.

The event, produced and managed by Sanford L. Smith + Associates (https://sanfordsmith.com), has become the world’s leading antiquarian book fair in its 60+ years of existence.
