A nature-inspired collection celebrating feathers, florals, pastel tones, and a partially sustainable capsule

TIMES SQUARE, NEW YORK (TIP): Rohan Narang Fashions presented its Spring Summer collection at Earth Day 2026 in Times Square, unveiling a runway story inspired by the freshest expressions of nature: new buds, daisies, soft petals, green leaves, and feather-light movement. Designed for a modern New York summer, the collection paired romantic detail with clean silhouettes and included a partial sustainable capsule shaped by mindful material choices and responsible design intentions.

Earth Day 2026 in Times Square gathered voices across sustainability, cinema, fashion, medicine, and mental health in a public program centered on awareness and collective action. The Earth Day Times Square program, produced for more than 24 years by Rev. Paul Sladkus, founder of the nonprofit Good News Corporation and long-time Earth Day advocate, was presented alongside partners including EarthDay.org, Ommm Presents, and the Office of the New York City Comptroller. The free clean energy event featured over 50 performers and speakers across the stage and exhibition area, with virtual appearances from UN Peace Messengers including Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, and UNICEF’s Shakira, and was presented in tribute to the Jane Goodall Foundation.

Against this broader backdrop, Narang’s runway offered an intentionally gentle perspective on Earth Day. The palette moved through lavender, blush, pale greens, soft ivory, and sun-warmed metallic notes, while textures and silhouettes evoked lightness, renewal, and a quiet sense of wonder. The result was a collection that felt delicate without being fragile, romantic without being costume, and expressive without losing modern polish.

Produced as part of the Earth Day Times Square special segment, the fashion show was supported by associate producers Iveth Carolina and Gail Reynolds, with producer Neha Lohia. The runway was modelled by Elena Sapov, Ishika Muchhal, Lilly Stix, Artie, and Christine Mendes.

The presentation formed part of a wider Earth Day program that included contributors such as Yale University’s Dr. Christopher Pittenger, psychiatrist Dr. Anna Yusim, resilience expert Dr. Eva Selhub, and Peter Sullivan, reinforcing that sustainability is not only environmental but also cultural, psychological, and human.

“Earth Day does not have to be expressed through heaviness,” said Rohan Narang, Founder and Designer of Rohan Narang Fashions. “This collection is about nature’s softer language: the bloom, the feather, the leaf. Beauty can be gentle and still carry responsibility.”
