AMITYVILLE, NY (TIP): Memorial Day weekend audiences on Long Island were deeply inspired by the visit of internationally renowned spiritual Master, best-selling author, and humanitarian Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, who presented two uplifting programs at the Science of Spirituality Meditation Center in Amityville, NY.

Hundreds gathered to hear Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj share practical wisdom on meditation, stress reduction, and living a peaceful and balanced life in today’s fast-paced world. The brisk, rainy weather did not deter the many participants from diverse backgrounds who attended the free public programs, which included meditation instruction and guidance for incorporating spiritual practices into daily life.

On Saturday evening, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj delivered a spiritual discourse in Hindi with English and Spanish translations, focusing on the importance of inner awakening, compassion, and unity among all people. On Memorial Day, he presented an inspiring English-language talk titled From Stress to Calm through Meditation, offering attendees practical techniques to reduce stress, cultivate clarity, and experience lasting inner peace. The program opened with an enchanting spiritual hymn, sung by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj’s respected wife, lovingly referred to as Mata Rita Ji.

During this visit, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji received a Special Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Grace Meng (D-NY) for his “Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community.”
Mr. Dilip Chauhan, who serves in NYC Mayor Mamdani’s administration, attended the program in a personal capacity and presented the Congressional Recognition to Sant Rajinder Singh Ji.

Dr. Renee Mehrra, Vice President of the Science of Spirituality Club at the United Nations, spoke eloquently about Maharaj Ji’s extraordinary work as a world-renowned spiritual teacher, ambassador of global peace, acclaimed author, and a selfless humanitarian.

There was a special musical evening on Sunday. The audience at the Amityville Center was captivated by the soulful, devotional Sufi music presentation by notable Punjabi singer Kanth Kaler.
