However, there has been no confirmed evidence about the couple’s plans to separate. Neither Gomez nor Blanco has issued any official statement to suggest marital rift or divorce.
Reports suggest the divorce rumour began when a parody social media account posted false claims about the couple’s relationship status. As the rumour spread online, some users posted old images and edited screenshots as proof that the marriage was in trouble. Others pointed to changes in online posting patterns. However, there has been no verified evidence of cheating or divorce.
The supposed Instagram story and X post about Gomez being “single” was reportedly linked to a parody account, not her official handle. Recent social media activity and public appearances have instead suggested that the couple remain together.
Gomez and Blanco were collaborators before they became romantically involved. He worked on her earlier music, and that bond developed into a relationship over time. Describing the relationship to People, Gomez said it was the “safest” she had ever felt.
