Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who is gearing up for the release of his event film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, shared a new poster from the film on May 1. The actor took to his Instagram and shared the poster, notifying his 25.6 million followers about the new song from the film.
The poster shows a flamboyant Pushparaj (Allu’s titular character) donning a maroon shirt paired with black pants as he stands against his red SUV.
Wearing heavy pieces of jewellery for a male protagonist, Allu’s Pushparaj sets his foot forward in style as the wooden logs and the cloud of dust occupy the foreground.
The wooden logs are wired to the character’s story and his business of smuggling the sandalwood.
Meanwhile, the first song titled ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ from the film is set to hit the airwaves at 5:00 pm. The anticipation is naturally high considering that the Puhspa is returning to the silver screen after more than two years. ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad who was feted with the National Award for his work in the first part of the film.

National Awards: Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Allu Arjun feted
The prestigious 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan on Tuesday, October 17, (October 17). The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of talented individuals in the film industry. President Draupadi Murmu presented the awards in various categories and also conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2021 on Waheeda Rehman.

Rocketry is best feature film; Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon bag acting honors
Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon have jointly won the National Film Award in the Best Actress category for their films Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi, respectively, while Telugu actor Allu Arjun has been named the Best Actor for his film Pushpa: The Rise’.
R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan, has been adjudged the Best Feature Film in the 69th National Film Awards announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in New Delhi on Thursday, August 24. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biographical drama Gangubai Kathiawadi has also won the Best Screenplay (adapted) — written by Bhansali and Utkarshini Vashishtha — and the Best Dialogues award for Vashishtha and Prakash Kapadia. Bhansali has also been named the best editor for the film, while Preetisheel Singh D’souza has won the award for best make-up artist for Gangubai. Actors Pankaj Tripathi and Pallavi Joshi have bagged the best supporting actor awards for Mimi and The Kashmir Files, respectively.
The Kashmir Files has also won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration. Shoojit Sircar’s biographical historical drama Sardar Udham has also bagged several awards. Apart from being named the Best Hindi Film, it has been awarded Best Cinematography (Avik Mukhopadhyay), Best Audiography (Sinoy Joseph), Best Production Design (Dmitrii Malich and Mansi Dhruv Mehta) and Best Costume Design (Veera Kapur Ee) awards.
The Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a director has been awarded to Malayalam film Meppadiyan, while Assamese film The Resonance has bagged the award for Best Film on Social Issues.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR has won the Best Music Director (background score) award (M M Keeravaani), Best Special Effects (V Srinivas Mohan), Best Choreography (Prem Rakshith), Best Male Playback Singer (Kaala Bhairava for the song Maayava Chaayavaa) and Best Action Direction (Stunt Choreography) award (King Soloman). The film has also bagged the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The National Awards, 2021, were selected by an 11-member jury headed by filmmaker Ketan Mehta. The award for the Best Director went to Nikhil Mahajan for Marathi film Godavari. Officials said the awards are meant for films that were released/certified in 2021; the awards for the consequent year – 2022 – will be declared in a few weeks.
Music by Laxmikant Pyarelal: The Incredibly Melodious Journey, authored by Rajiv Vijayakar has won the Best Book on Cinema awards, while Telugu writer Purushothama Charyulu has been adjudged the Best Film Critic.est non-feature film award has been won by Ek Tha Gaon, produced and directed by Srishti Lakhera.
