Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has reportedly begun developing his next project and may reunite with Ranveer Singh after Dhurandhar. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film is still in the early stages and Singh has emerged as the frontrunner to headline it.
The report said Dhar is aiming to take the yet-untitled film on floors by March 2027. Quoting a source, it said, “Aditya Dhar has cracked an idea and is currently working on it. He’s excited about the concept and is developing it actively, with a plan to start the film by March 2027.”
According to the report, Dhar has already cracked a fresh idea and has started working on developing it into a full-fledged film. Discussions have also begun with Singh for the lead part, although the paperwork has not been finalised yet.
The report added that the film is expected to be a high-concept, larger-than-life project. Singh has emerged as the top choice for the role, with the report saying he fits Dhar’s vision for the film. With Dhurandhar: The Revenge also building buzz, Dhar appears to be continuing in the space of ambitious stories mounted on a grand scale. Dhar, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike and the Dhurandhar film series, enjoys a 100 per cent success record at the box office.
