Mastiii 4 trailer slammed for vulgarity, director Milap Zaveri responds

The release of the trailer for the upcoming film ‘Mastiii 4’ has ignited a wave of reactions on social media, with many users expressing disappointment over its content. Dropped on Tuesday, November 4, after a brief delay, the trailer features returning cast members Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, and Riteish Deshmukh, along with franchise newcomers Nargis Fakhri, Arshad Warsi, and Tusshar Kapoor. While some fans welcomed the return of the popular comedy series, others criticised the tone and humour displayed in the trailer, sparking a debate online.
A section of viewers expressed their dissatisfaction with the trailer, labeling it as “cheap” and “vulgar.” The discussion gained further traction when a woman posted her thoughts on X, stating, “How do they face the females in their house after doing such films, you will never know (sic).”
Director Milap Zaveri responded to these concerns directly on social media, encouraging viewers to withhold judgment until seeing the full film. Zaveri replied, “Mam pls do see the film. You may be pleasantly surprised. Women have a v strong role and POV (sic).” His response aimed to address allegations regarding the portrayal of women.
‘Mastiii 4’ is directed by Milap Zaveri and features an ensemble cast, including Ruhii Singh, Shreya Sharma, Elnaaz Norouzi, Shaad Randhawa, Nishant Singh Malkani, and Natalia Janoszek. The film is scheduled for release on November 21, 2025, and marks the fourth entry in the long-running franchise that began in 2004.
