The Culture Tree

The Culture Tree promotes cultural literacy about South Asia using languages, performing arts, literature, food and art.

Its goal is to create empathy, respect and understanding to children and adults towards all different cultures and further inclusivity, while still helping address questions about Identity with heritage cultures.

Anu Sehgal is the Founder and President of The Culture Tree. She lives in New York with her family. She is a marketer by profession. She holds an MBA from Yale University and has worked in the corporate sector for almost 15 years. She has worked with NYU’s bilingual STARTALK program to develop the program and curriculum at The Culture Tree.
