Deepika Padukone often shares funny memes about her everyday life. On March 12, she shared a witty meme about her actor-husband Ranveer Singh’s phone habits. Along with Ranveer, she also tagged one of her friends on the meme. It is a picture of a pigeon walking over a snow-covered road. The text read, “My husband when he is on the call with someone (sic).” She tagged Ranveer with three laugh-till-you-cry emojis. Deepika is currently in Paris as she represented India at the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter show 2025. The actor also shared a series of pictures where she is seen decked up in a white winter coat, black bodycon pants, leather gloves and a hat.
Ahead of her Paris event, Deepika went to Abu Dhabi for a show. The actor is now slowly resuming work after the birth of her daughter, Dua Padukone Singh.
On November 1, Ranveer and Deepika announced the name of their daughter with a cute picture. “Dua Padukone Singh. ‘Duap: meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our prayers. OUr hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer (sic),” their post read.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Singham Again in the role of Shakthi Shetty. She is expected to join the sets of Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s Kalki 2 in the coming months.

While the teaser of Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film Fighter has given a power-packed glimpse of its action-filled world, the first song, Sher Khul Gaye, sets the perfect party mood. Taking ahead its musical journey, the makers are all set to treat the audience with a romantic melody, Ishq Jaisa Kuch, that will be released on December 22. To keep the anticipation intact, the makers have released a teaser of Ishq Jaisa Kuch, giving a glance at the sizzling chemistry of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
The teaser of Ishq Jaisa Kuch captures romance very beautifully in every frame. While the teaser is just a glimpse of the first-time pairing between Hrithik and Deepika in a romantic song, it has indeed elevated the excitement to witness the song in its totality.
While sharing the teaser on his social media, Hrithik Roshan jotted down the caption, “Hone laga hai.. #IshqJaisaKuch! Song out on Friday, 22nd December. #Fighter #FighterOn25thJan.” Ishq Jaisa Kuch is composed by Vishal-Shekhar with lyrics by Kumaar. It has been sung by Mellow D and Shilpa Rao, and choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser. Shilpa posted fire emojis on the teaser shared by Hrithik. His girlfriend Saba Azad also dropped black heart and fire emojis. Hair stylist Aalim Hakim wrote, “Ufff (fire emojis)…. Need Fire Extinguishers (extinguisher emoji).” Ayushmann Khurrana also posted a fire emoji. Hrithik’s father and veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan also wrote, “Super fire (fire emoji).”
Deepika also shared the teaser on her Instagram handle. Janhvi Kapoor commented, “Please stop (emojis) not able to take it (emojis).” Mellow D and Shilpa Rao also posted fire emojis on her post.
Fighter is slated to release in theatres on January 25, 2024, on the eve of Republic Day.

Ranveer has this reaction after watching Deepika’s Gehraiyaan
Ever since the trailer of Gehraiyaan has released fans have been eagerly waiting for the film to release. They cannot keep calm and have been going gaga over everything related to the film. Deepika Padukone while speaking to Indianexpress.com revealed that Gehraiyaan looks like the most intense film she has done since the 2015 release Tamasha that starred Ranbir Kapoor opposite her. This Imtiaz Ali film received a lot of love from the fans and become one of the most loved movies of Ranbir and Deepika. Well, talking about what hubby Ranveer Singh said after watching the film DP revealed that he too felt that this is the most intense film she has done.
Deepika Padukone further added that her character of Alisha Khanna in Gehraiyaan has shades of Shoojit Sircar’s Piku and Tara from Tamasha because of the way they have been written. But, she quipped that her character in Gehraiyaan is ‘probably the most complex character, which makes this role different and extremely challenging’ than whatever she has done.

Deepika confirms SRK’s return to big screen with Pathan
It was only recently that Shah Rukh Khan had announced returning to the big screen after in 2021. However, he did not divulge details about his comeback project. Now, after much speculations, Deepika Padukone confirmed SRK’s casting in Pathan. In an interview with Femina, Deepika confirmed the project with Shah Rukh and Prabhas and shared details about her upcoming films. She said, “So, I immediately started with Shakun Batra’s film, which is a relationship story that we haven’t seen in Indian cinema before. Then there is Pathan, an action film with Shah Rukh Khan, next is Nag Ashwin’s multilinual film with Prabhas.
“Then I am doing which is a remake of Anne Hathaway’s movie The Intern, which is so relevant in today’s times when you have the millennial and the older generation coming together. And then, the most famous story coming out of our country, Mahabharata, in which I am playing Draupadi; I want to tell that story to the world.”
