Dia Mirza took to social media and shared the heartbreaking news of her niece, Tanya Kakde’s demise. A few hours back, Dia took to Instagram and posted a picture of her niece. She also penned an emotional note with the photo, remembering her. The note read, “My neice. My child. My jaan. Gone into the light. May you find peace and love wherever you are my darling… you always brought a smile to our hearts and the higher realms will be filled with more light with you dancing, smiling and singing. Om Shanti (yellow heart emoji) (tiger emoji) (folded hands emoji).” As soon as Dia shared the tragic news, fans, followers, and friends shared their heartfelt condolences in the comments section. Boman Irani wrote, “I have to words to comfort you Dia. This is heartbreaking. Your words mean much. Hope they can heal. I pray. (folded hands emoji).” Arjun Rampal’s also left his condolences as he wrote, “So sorry to hear this Dia. Prayers for all of you her family and her soul. Om Shanti (folded hands emoji)”. Dia Mirza shares ‘special’ moments with husband Vaibhav, stepdaughter
Dia Mirza has made some ‘really special memories’ on her honeymoon with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi and his daughter Samaira. She took to Instagram to share fresh photos from their Maldives getaway. “We made some really special memories in Maldives,” she wrote, along with a host of emojis, including an ocean wave, sun, heart and dolphin. One of the hashtags she added to the post was ‘you are special’.
In the first photo, Dia held up her hair as she posed with Vaibhav. The second had her posing with Samaira on the beach. The third was a selfie of the couple, with the ocean visible in the background.
Other pictures included Vaibhav and Samaira sipping coconut water and laying out a picnic on the beach. Dia was seen holding the young girl’s hand in one of the photos.
Earlier, Dia shared pictures and videos of them watching dolphins, and said that the joy they felt was beyond words. “Talk about saving the best for last!?! We spent over an hour with a few schools of #Dolphins… 20-30 of them at a time. Words are inadequate to express the joy of witnessing these beautiful creatures in the wild. The Indian Ocean was magic, our time here in her calm waters has been restful and restorative,” she wrote.
Dia and Vaibhav got married in an intimate ceremony in the garden of her apartment complex last month. He shares his daughter Samaira with his ex-wife, Sunaina Rekhi. Sharing the first photos of the wedding, Dia had written on Instagram, “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us. #ThankYouPreeta #SunsetKeDiVaNe.”

Dia Mirza ties the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi
The Thappad actor got married to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in Pali Hill, Bandra in an intimate ceremony on February 15. Dia looked stunning in a crimson red Raw Mango sari that featured golden motifs and a thick border. All smiles, she kept the overall look simple but opted for heavy jewellery comprising a polki necklace, jhumkis and a maangtika. Vaibhav, on the other hand, was seen in an all-white ensemble — kurta, nehru jacket and churidaar. He completed the look with tan juttis and a golden safa.
Her hair was tied in a neat low bun adorned with a white gajra, and she completed the look with basic nude lips, a red bindi, and soft eyeliner. Prior to this for the pre-wedding festivities, she opted for a white turtleneck lace dress paired with flats. The look was styled with a dainty hair clip and soft makeup.
