Actor Jamie Foxx has been accused of a rooftop sexual assault that allegedly happened 8 years ago in New York City.
According to a report by TMZ, the court documents reveal that he has been sued by a woman in a case of sexual assault. The woman alleged that Jamie Foxx assaulted her at the Catch restaurant rooftop in New York City in August 2015. In the document the plaintiff, identified only as Jane Doe, alleges Foxx “intentionally and without consent used force to offensively touch” her, by groping her breasts and genitals at a rooftop bar in Manhattan.
The restaurant; its employees; and the co-founder of Catch Hospitality Group, Mark Birnbaum have been listed as defendants in the lawsuit.
“The alleged incident never happened. In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter,” a spokesperson for Foxx said.

A mixture of iconic sci-fi film franchises such as ‘Star Wars’, ‘Blade Runner’, ‘Dune’, and ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, among others ‘Rebel Moon’ is a bleak movie that takes place in a dystopian future. More of a space opera rather than just an action film, ‘Rebel Moon’ is essentially a sci-fi-epic that features a prophesied one to end a cataclysmic war. There are spaceships raining lasers down on a small village leading to a bloody carnage, talking robots, a monitoring AI authority, mutant creatures, laser and plasma guns, energy blades, teleportation devices, and in typical Zack Snyder fashion, a lot of slow-motion.
The story centers around a young woman living on the outskirts of a galaxy who must find a group of warriors to save the galaxy from an invasion by a tyrant. Funny enough, ‘Rebel Moon’ takes place in the same universe as his zombie-action film ‘Army of the Dead’, but this time this is sci-fi-epic instead of a shoot the living dead in the face kind of thing.

Jenna Ortega drops out of ‘Scream 7’ over scheduling conflicts with ‘Wednesday 2’
Actress Jenna Ortega has left the ‘Scream 7’ film due to scheduling conflicts. The actress dropped out of the horror franchise due to her ‘Wednesday’ season 2 shooting schedule with Netflix, which was said to be in the works months ago before the SAG-AFTRA strike began.
Production dates for the upcoming season of ‘Wednesday’ are yet to be confirmed, reports Mirror.co.uk. Meanwhile, Jenna also needs to wrap filming on Tim Burton’s ‘Beetlejuice 2’, which has a few more days to shoot after it was interrupted by the SAG-AFTRA strike.
As per Mirror.co.uk, the news of her exit from ‘Scream 7’ comes as her co-star and Mexican actress Melissa Barrera was fired from the movie franchise, with her axing following on from posts she made relating to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war and Gaza conflict.
Variety has confirmed that Jenna’s exit from Scream was not connected to Melissa’s dismissal. According to a new report, Spyglass Media Group has “dropped” Melissa from the cast of ‘Scream VII’, with them said to be “pushing back on a narrative that has quickly coalesced around the decision that Barrera was fired for showing support for the Palestinian cause.”
Melissa, 33, was cast as Sam Carpenter in August 2020 for the fifth ‘Scream’ film, with the film hitting screens in January 2022. She is also famous for having starred in the likes of In ‘The Heights’ and ‘Carmen’. She was supposed to be at the helm of the leading role for the next ‘Scream’ movie.
Ortega received a Comedy Series Actress Primetime Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe Comedy TV Actress nom for her turn as the title character of Wednesday.
The Scream franchise with a seventhquel stands to hit the $1 billion global mark at the box office. Through six films, it stands at $911M.
In response to Barrera being dropped from Scream VII, Spyglass issued the statement, ““Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech.”

Mean Girls trailer out: Regina George and The Plastics return with new twists
The highly-anticipated Mean Girls trailer brings back The Plastics and the Burn Book but with a brand new twist. On Wednesday, November 8, Paramount Pictures dropped the first look into their new Mean Girls story reintroducing Regina George, the undisputed leader and Queen Bee of the mean trio famously labeled The Plastics in school. The upcoming film is an adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical based originally on Tina Fey’s 2004 teen comedy. Actress and singer Renee Rapp reprises her role as Regina George from the Broadway show, while Angourie Rice plays the new student Cady Heron this time.
The trailer begins with a fierce disclaimer, “This isn’t your mother’s ‘Mean Girls,’” as Cady manoeuvres through the halls and classrooms of her high school steering clear of the infamous cliquey group of girls. But things take a sudden turn when Cady falls for Aaron Samuels, played by Christopher Briney of The Summer I Turned Pretty fame. Aaron happens to be Queen Bee Regina’s ex-boyfriend and his equation with Cady seems awkward, fresh, and heart-fluttering all at the same time. Cady attempts to get along with the cliques of her new school but to no avail.
A hilarious scene of her eating lunch alone in the bathroom shows her desperate attempt to get away from the high school drama. “We’re concerned you’re either doing drugs or having a toilet baby,” says Damian (Played by Jaquel Spivey), who is an outcast like Janis (Played by Auli’i Carvalho). Cady, Damian, and Janis soon become friends. The trio is developing plans to help Cady become a member of The Plastics, which includes an insecure Gretchen (Played by Bebe Wood) and sweet yet dimwitted Karen (Played by Avantika Vandanapu).
With Olivia Rodrigo’s Get Him Back playing in the background, one of the highlights became the iconic Halloween scene from the original film. Cady’s scary look frightens The Plastics, who begin to school her about sluttish Halloween looks. Cady’s plan was first to become a member of the Plastics but towards the end, she is seen taking desperate measures to take Regina down. The trailer takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride of laughter with hilarious scenes of cliche high school kisses and sex education sessions preaching about abstinence and protection. In brevity, the new Mean Girls aptly retains the essence of its original version by introducing a new generation almost 20 years after the movie hit the theaters. Sharon Stone accuses former Sony executive of sexual harassment
Actress Sharon Stone has claimed that a former head of Sony exposed himself to her during a meeting in the 1980s.
Stone did not name the executive, but she said the encounter was “not the last of many weird experiences” throughout her long career. Sony Pictures did not immediately return a request for comment from the BBC.
The Oscar-nominated 65-year-old talked about the incident during a podcast with US talk show host Kelly Ripa.
She says she was called to the office of the former “head of Sony” for a meeting when she first moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s. Stone claims the executive told her: “It’s true what they say about you and you’re the most gorgeous. We haven’t seen anyone like you in decades. Everybody’s talking about you, and look at you. You’re the most articulate. You’re so smart and beautiful – and that hair”.

Megan Fox reveals ‘horrific’ experiences with ‘very famous people’
Megan Fox has opened up about her past abusive relationships with some very famous people that she has kept secret. ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress has written a book of poetry called Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, where she explores themes of abuse and toxicity in her relationships.
She spoke to Good Morning America on Tuesday and said that she had been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically abusive ones in her life.
“I have only been publicly connected to a few people, but I shared energy with, I guess we could say, who were horrific people. And also very famous — very famous — people,” Fox said.
“But no one knows that I was involved with those people.”
Fox is engaged to musician Machine Gun Kelly, and has three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
She told GMA that her fiancé encouraged her to write a poetry book. She also said that she did not publish some of the poems she wrote because they were too revealing for a known person.
“Some of it is too much when you’re a known person,” she said. “If I had the freedom of just being a poet and people not really wanting to dig too much into my personal life, I would have included more entries like that.”
One of the poems in Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, titled “oxycodone and tequila”, describes a scene of domestic violence. She writes about being hit, spit on and choked by a man who is “delusional and possessed”.
She writes, “you hit me / again / and again / i recognize the familiar taste of blood on my tongue.” She also writes about being covered in scratches and bite marks, and being trapped by the man who falls asleep on top of her. “you fall asleep on top of me so that i can’t call my family or the police,” she writes.
Fox, who also writes about having a miscarriage in the book, said that some of her poetry is literal and some is allegorical, but “all of it is something women can relate to.”
She said that relationships are not pretty, but are complicated and sometimes a war. She said that through a wound, there is a chance to grow and become stronger and more whole.
She announced the book in August and said: “I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins.” Source: HT -

Paris Hilton says ‘unacceptable’ to target her child
Social media mogul and reality TV star Paris Hilton welcomed her first child, with her husband, venture capitalist Carter Reum, in January this year. Recently, she posted a few pictures with her son, Phoenix, as he was on his first trip to New York. However, several internet users criticised the eight-month-old baby’s appearance and the size of his head. Hilton took to her Instagram story and called it “unacceptable”. She informed Phoenix is “perfectly healthy”.
Hilton took to Instagram on October 20 and shared a carousel of photos with her child. In the pictures, she is seen sitting on a white couch and holding baby Phoenix, who is adorably looking at the camera. “My precious angel baby Phoenix’s first time in NYC,” she wrote in the caption.
However, some people posted nasty comments on the social media platform. “Does he have encephalitis? Like what is actually going on I’m not trying to be rude that doesn’t seem normal,” said a user.
“Y’all he’s just got a lot on his mind leave the kid alone,” said another person.

American actress and film producer Reese Witherspoon opened up about her obsession with comedy during a panel discussion at Hello Sunshine’s inaugural Shine Away Event in Los Angeles.
“I came to this realisation and I’m sure you guys are going to find this shocking: I’m not meant to be doing dark, heavy, intense, horror, gore, darkness movies. People like to see me do light movies. And I was like, okay…,” she said.
“I want to make optimistic stuff that excites girls to be women in this world because it is a wonderful thing to be a woman in this world,” added Witherspoon.

Veteran actor Richard Roundtree, star of Shaft, Dies At 81
American actor Richard Roundtree, heralded as “the first Black action hero” for his starring role in the iconic 1971 hit Shaft, died Tuesday at 81, US media reported. Hollywood publication Deadline said that the actor, known for opening doors for other Black artists in the industry, died with his family at his bedside, “after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.” Shaft, in which Roundtree played the eponymous private eye John Shaft, sparked a series of sequels and a TV spinoffs. Five decades later, Roundtree was still acting, appearing in the television romance drama Cherish the Day and film comedy Moving On just last year.
“Richard’s work and career served as a turning point for African American leading men in film,” his manager Patrick McMinn said in a statement to Variety. “The impact he had on the industry cannot be overstated.”
Roundtree’s major debut, Shaft was hailed as a founding classic in the “Blaxploitation” genre the 1970s were known for – which boosters say tackled race relations while critics blast the style for trafficking in stereotypes. Either way, the genre was critical to pushing Hollywood to finally cast Black Americans in starring roles. “I used to look at it as a double-edged sword. But I’ve had so many people from all over the country – and all over the world actually – come up and say what that film meant to them back in ’71,” Roundtree told broadcaster NPR in 2019.
“It’s heavy.” “The other side of it is I got typecast for quite some time, and then I’ve gone out of my way to establish a different side of my acting,” he said. Shraddha Kapoor went to Mumbai’s ISKON temple on Tuesday. While talking to the paparazzi on her way out of the house, a cameramen complimented her on the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica being great. To this, Shraddha said, “Gaadi nahi rath hai ye mera. (It’s not a car, it’s my chariot).”
Fans cheered for Shraddha Kapoor in the comment section of the post. A follower wrote, “Shraddha onwards and upwards only for u,” while another one wrote, “happy always.” An ardent fan wrote, “Many many congratulations Shraddha Kapoor. u deserve many many more ur sincerity n hardwork always pays off.” Shraddha was recently seen on the big screen with Ranbir Kapoor in the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Salman Khan says he loves being the larger-than-life action star
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who has completed 35 years in Hindi cinema, says he loves being the larger-than-life action star. As he is all set to celebrate his 35 years with Tiger 3, Salman said, “People who have loved me since my debut, made me realise on social media that I have completed 35 years in cinema. It is a very special moment for me, filled with nostalgia, love, so much joy and also the pain when things didn’t go as per plan. But I have loved every minute of my journey in the Hindi film industry.”
He added, “I’m glad to celebrate this personal milestone with the release of Tiger 3! I know that my fans love to see me doing action and I hope Tiger 3 is the perfect gift that they have been waiting for.” Salman is elated with the response that the first video asset, Tiger Ka Message from Tiger 3, garnered. Yash Raj Films released Tiger Ka Message last week, a video that is a precursor to the trailer of the film. Salman Khan is back to reprise his role as super-agent Tiger aka Avinash Singh Rathore in Yash Raj Films’ Tiger 3.
He says playing such larger-than-life characters are fun. Salman said, “I love the action genre, I love being the larger-than-life action star. It’s fun…”
Tiger 3 trailer will be out on October 16
The much-anticipated trailer of Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will arrive this month. The trailer release date is set for October 16, 2023.
The makers of Tiger 3 shared an update about the trailer along with a new poster featuring Salman Khan’s titular character. It reads, “#Tiger3Trailer coming to roar louder than ever on 16th October. #Tiger3 arriving in cinemas this Diwali.”
The film, which is the next instalment after Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) will mark the return of Salman Khan as Tiger and Katrina Kaif as Zoya.
Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film will tie into YRF’s Spy Universe which includes Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan and Hrithik Roshan’s War. After Salman Khan made a scene-stealing cameo in Pathaan, SRK’s appearance in the next Tiger film is anticipated. -
Aamir Khan teams up with Sunny Deol, Rajkumar Santoshi for ‘Lahore, 1947’
Sunny Deol has been roped in ‘Lahore, 1947’. It will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Interestingly, this film will also mark Aamir Khan Productions’ (AKP) 17th production under their banner.
Aamir Khan will take on the mantel of producer under Aamir Khan Productions, while the accomplished director Rajkumar Santoshi will helm the project. Leading the film as the main actor will be Sunny Deol. With this formidable trio of Sunny, Aamir and Santoshi, the film has already raised expectations.
The note shared by Aamir Khan Productions on their social media platforms read, “I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol have previously delivered three box office hits together with ‘Ghayal’, ‘Damini’, and ‘Ghatak’. Given this impressive track record, it’s only natural to anticipate that their upcoming project will be nothing short of epic. ‘Lahore, 1947’ also marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Santoshi after their iconic cult classic, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. Notably, Sunny Deol recently broke the box office with ‘Gadar 2’, that grossed over Rs 500 crore and is the second highest grossing film, not just of the year but ever!

Tara Sutaria cast opposite Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3
The much awaited sequel, Aashiqui 3, will team up Kartik Aaryan with Anurag Basu. Given that the genre is a little different from Basu’s directing style, who is renowned for his unique presentation of contemporary love, the news had left everyone in surprise.
Now we have exclusively learnt that Tara Sutaria has been cast as the female lead in the much loved franchise. The film is also reportedly supposed to go on floors in January next year.
The head of T-Series, the production company responsible for Aashiqui 3, Bhushan Kumar, also stated that pre-production work for the movie is still in progress. Since that music plays a significant role in the Aashiqui universe, they are actively composing music. The other two movies in the series, meanwhile, have received a lot of praise for their compelling love stories and enduring musical compositions.
