Hollywood stars Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal recently shared an intriguing update with their fans. The beloved duo posted a photo on Instagram that appears to be a playful homage to their 1989 classic When Harry Met Sally. Crystal, 76, wore a sweater strikingly similar to Harry’s iconic one from the film, while the setting evokes the interviews in the rom-com. Ryan, 63, sported an outfit that closely mirrored Sally’s signature style from the movie.
In the caption, Ryan teased their upcoming reunion, writing, “It’s finally happening, we’re reuniting for something iconic. Can’t wait to show you all soon.” Crystal also shared the same photo and caption on his Instagram — marking his very first post on the platform. Fans were quick to express their excitement in the comments, with many eagerly speculating about what the duo might be preparing.
Their reunion has certainly sparked nostalgia among fans of When Harry Met Sally, a film that has continued to capture hearts since its release.

Angelina Jolie surely ‘devastated’ over Maria’s Oscars snub as ‘Hollywood is team Brad Pitt’
Angelina Jolie is reportedly devastated over being snubbed by the Oscars for her portrayal of Maria Callas in the biopic Maria, according to industry insiders. Despite dedicating months to mastering the opera singer’s role, including learning to sing, Jolie’s performance garnered a Golden Globe nomination but was passed over by both the SAG Awards and the Academy.
Angelina Jolie portrays the renowned opera singer Maria Callas in the biopic “Maria,” which focuses on the final seven days of Callas’ life in Paris in 1977. The film explores her reflections on her illustrious career, her struggles with vocal decline, and her complex relationships.
“Angelina will be devastated … look at all the press she did for the film — she wanted to get nominated,” a source close to the annual event told PageSix. “She did Jimmy Fallon, her first late-night show in over a decade. She even went to the Gotham Awards. She did all these magazine covers.” “Maria” grapples with themes of identity, legacy, and the enduring power of art. It shows how Callas, despite her fame and talent, grappled with personal demons and the pressures of her public image.
After taking a break from acting, Jolie made her comeback in the biopic, but the Oscars didn’t roll out the red carpet. According to a Hollywood awards expert, the snub “wasn’t great for Angelina — or Netflix.” And while some speculate that it’s all tied to her very public split from Brad Pitt, a movie insider claims Hollywood’s still got a soft spot for Brad.
“This just shows that Hollywood is Team Brad,” the insider said. “The Globes showed that the foreign press loves her, but that’s not Hollywood. Nobody was going to go against Brad and give Angelina a vote … people just love Brad.”
After eight years of legal battles, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally put their divorce to rest in December. Although, Jolie’s performance was generally praised in the new film, according to an insider, the Oscars snub may have more to do with Hollywood politics than just the performance itself. As the industry welcomes new faces with first-time nominees, there’s a sense that Jolie’s journey could be weighed down by past headlines.

‘Wolf Man’ is a toothless reboot that’ll make you bark at the moon
Blake Lovell thinks taking his wife and young daughter to rural Oregon to pack up his dead father’s belongings is a good idea. It’s a break from their urban life, might help repair his fraying marriage and reconnect them all with nature. “It would be good for us,” he argues.
It will not, of course, because this is a Blumhouse movie called “Wolf Man.” It will not be good for Blake and it will not be good for the audience. That’s because this film is a terrible misfire using a classic movie monster poorly rebooted by the modern home of horror.
Slack when it should be terrifying, “Wolf Man” suffers from cheap sentimentality, laughably obvious script reveals, poor continuity and a creature that is less predatory than painful. Pity comes to mind.
Christopher Abbott stars as Blake, a father and husband whose own estranged dad was a tad unstable, constantly drilling in his son a survivalist ethic. “It’s not hard to die. It’s the easiest thing in the world,” his dad says. He being officially declared dead 30 years after he disappeared into the forest starts this sludgy movie off. -

Jennifer Lopez and Jharrel Jerome shine in crowd-pleasing wrestling drama
There’s nothing quite like the impact of a good sports biopic drama. A classic underdog story where the protagonist rises up against all odds and wins. But to a degree, sports biopics have reached a saturation point in the last few years. One can smell the next plot point a mile away, can predict the next dramatic meltdown right from the way the camera pauses for a close-up shot. Sadly, these are some of the cases that plague the new Prime Video entry Unstoppable, based on the extraordinary real-life journey of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg.
Make no mistake. Unstoppable is very likeable and ultimately packs an emotional wallop. It has all the ingredients to make an amazing genre entry, but it stays so expectedly overwrought in its own formula that the story rarely takes shape. Marking the directorial debut of Oscar-winning Argo editor William Goldenberg, and produced by Ben Affleck, Unstoppable features a fierce central performance from Jharrel Jerome as Anthony, and an equally impressive supporting turn from Jennifer Lopez as his mother Judy. However, the film feels too caught up trying to impress, too one-note to add any texture to these characters to make them feel more than what they are offered on screen.
Unstoppable starts off with Anthony’s final years in high school, where he impresses with his agile moves in the match. His mother roots for him to excel, and his coach (Michael Peña) supports his dreams. But back home, he has to deal with his abusive stepfather (Bobby Cannavale), which amounts to his anxieties about his next steps. Should he take the offer of a full college scholarship at Drexel or pursue at Iowa, where he believes the best wrestlers go? During his search, his way will lead to coach Shawn Charles (Don Cheadle), whose push will keep Anthony striving for more. -

Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness heading towards a ‘messy’ divorce
After nearly three decades of marriage, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are struggling to finalize their separation. Despite announcing their split in September 2023, the estranged couple has yet to file for divorce, reportedly due to complications surrounding their decision to forego a prenuptial agreement.
Daily Mail has reported that their split could become “messy” as they work to divide their substantial $250 million fortune. “One of the biggest reasons why they haven’t yet filed is that they never had a prenup,” a source close to the Wolverine star told the British outlet.
The couple, who met on the Australian TV show Correlli in 1995, married in April 1996 and went on to adopt two children, son Oscar, 24, and daughter Ava, 19.
“When they got married, they thought it would be forever. Who doesn’t?” the source told Daily Mail. “At the time, neither of them expected Hugh’s career to get as enormous as it has. Because there was no prenup, and he made a fortune during their marriage, this divorce is not going to be cut and dry. It may even get messy because the stakes are high.”
“They put their differences aside to co-parent and he cares a lot about is children.” the insider added.
The couple’s shared assets include a sprawling property portfolio, such as a $3.5 million estate in East Hampton, a $5.9 million Bondi beach house in Sydney, and a $21 million Manhattan penthouse purchased just a year before their split. “A lot of moving parts need to be worked out and there is a huge amount of money involved,” the insider noted, and the couple wants to “make this as easy as possible” for them.
Jackman and Sutton Foster confirmed their romance last week when they were photographed holding hands outside a Los Angeles restaurant. The relationship has only fueled the discord, as Furness has struggled with feelings of “resentment and an imbalance of power” during the final years of their marriage.
“They are cordial to each other, but they are no longer friends,” the insider told Daily Mail. “They put their differences aside to co-parent, and he cares a lot about his children.”
Jackman’s relationship with Foster began as a friendship during their time on Broadway, but the insider insisted there was no overlap between his relationships with Furness and Foster. But, Furness sparked speculation by “liking” a social media post claiming Jackman was “running off with the mistress.” -

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck finalize divorce after two years of marriage
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially settled the terms of their divorce, bringing an end to their brief two-year marriage. The announcement, confirmed through court documents obtained by E! News on January 6, reveals that both parties have agreed on the terms of the divorce, and the split appears to be amicable.
The divorce filing, which was submitted by Lopez in August 2024, marks the culmination of their marriage, which began in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2022.
According to the settlement, both Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will retain the earnings they individually acquired during their time together.
Neither party will be required to pay spousal support, and Lopez will revert to using her maiden name, “Lopez,” after having changed it to “Affleck” following their wedding, as per E! News.
Lopez had filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, citing the couple’s separation as having occurred on April 26, 2024.
Speculation about their relationship had been mounting in the months leading up to the filing.
Lopez’s solo appearance at the 2024 Met Gala and various promotional events added fuel to the fire.
As per E! News, in a candid interview with comedian Nikki Glaser, Lopez opened up about the emotional toll the breakup took on her, describing how her “whole f–king world exploded” after the separation, adding, “You have to be complete if you want something that’s more complete.” -

Zendaya, Tom Holland engaged, say family sources
Zendaya and Tom Holland are reportedly engaged. A source close to the couple told TMZ that Tom proposed at one of Zendaya’s family homes during the holiday season. The source said, “Tom went down on one knee in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States. We’re told Tom didn’t make a huge show of the engagement – it wasn’t a big, over-the-top proposal – instead, it was very romantic and intimate.”
Another source told PEOPLE that everyone close to the couple was aware an engagement was imminent, but no one knew exactly when it would happen. According to the source, Tom Holland had been eager to propose for some time. “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special,” the source said, adding that the actor shared the exciting news with friends around New Year.
As for their wedding plans, the couple intends to take their time. “They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding,” the source shared. “They are both busy with work projects. Tom has always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it’s official – she really is!” the source concluded.
ICYDK, Zendaya sparked engagement rumours at the 82nd edition of the Golden Globe Awards, after appearing on the red carpet with a diamond ring on her left hand. The actress, nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Challengers, stunned in a custom burnt orange satin gown by Louis Vuitton paired with matching pointed-toe pumps.
Styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach, Zendaya accessorised the ensemble with a choker necklace and high-end Bulgari jewellery, including a platinum High Jewelry necklace featuring an oval paraiba tourmaline and over 48 carats of diamonds, a matching ring and diamond stud earrings. But it wasn’t the Bulgari pieces that had fans talking – many noticed a potential engagement ring on her left ring finger.
Zendaya and Tom Holland have been romantically linked since 2021. The couple first worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.
On the work front, the couple is set to star together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, an adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, slated for release in 2026, alongside Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon. -

Angelina Jolie shares heartbreaking update after Brad Pitt divorce settlement
Angelina Jolie took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share a deeply emotional message following the end of her eight-year-long divorce battle with Brad Pitt. The Oscar-winning actress, known for her humanitarian work, used the platform to highlight the plight of millions of Syrians in need of aid, shifting the attention away from her personal life.
In a heartfelt Instagram Story post, the Maria actress shared an image from nrc_norway featuring a war-ravaged country along with a poignant message aimed at raising awareness for Syria’s ongoing crisis.
“Syria: over 17 million people in need of aid. Syria has been decimated by almost 14 years of conflict, displacement, and economic deterioration,” she wrote. “While the recent change in government brings about a chance of a fresh start, millions still need help, and critical needs continue to be unmet.”
Jolie has long been recognised for her tireless humanitarian work, with a focus on “conservation, education, and women’s rights.” As a Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, she has dedicated much of her time to advocating for refugees around the world.
In a recent post, Jolie captured the efforts of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), an organisation she strongly supports, which works to champion the rights of displaced people globally. She previously collaborated with the NRC in regions like Jordan and Yemen as a leading global advocate for refugees.
The actress broke her social media silence days after her ‘ugly’ legal feud with her ex-husband Brad Pitt came to an end. Her lawyer James Simone told PEOPLE, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.” -

Jennifer Garner reacts to ‘getting back’ with ex Ben Affleck amid JLO’s ‘real villain’ claims
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may have shared a few holiday moments recently, but don’t expect a romantic reunion anytime soon. Despite rumours of rekindled love following Ben’s split from Jennifer Lopez, insiders confirm that the former couple is focused solely on their co-parenting dynamic.
“Jen laughs off those rumors,” a source reveals, noting that while it might be the Hollywood ending fans dream of, real life tells a different story.
Garner has quietly been dating businessman John Miller for a few years now, though the duo share an on-and-off relationship. The idea of marriage was definitely on the table, as reported earlier. However, as the Batman actor reentered the picture and was spotted frequently spending time with his ex-wife and kids, including during the holiday season amid his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, rumors circulated about whether the exes would get back together. ‘They’re not getting back together,’ an insider told InTouch.
Speaking about Jen and Ben’s current relationship status, the insider added, “Jen is still dating John and Ben is very supportive of that,” the source continues. “Ben’s single and just taking life one day at a time. They’re far from perfect, but Jen and Ben are a great example of how co-parenting should work.” The exes who were married for over a decade share three kids together Violet, Fin, and Samuel. -

Jennifer Aniston offers to help Selena Gomez in wedding planning: Report
As Selena Gomez prepares to get married to Benny Blanco, a new report claims that the singer-actor has been seeking guidance from her close friend, Jennifer Aniston. It is believed that Jennifer is reportedly offering Selena a valuable set of advice on how to navigate the challenges of married life.
According to In Touch, Jennifer will be at the front at the wedding celebrations along with other best friends including Taylor Swift, Meryl Streep, Cara Delevingne, and Ariana Grande.
“Jennifer treats Selena like a younger sister. She’s very excited for her and has already sent flowers and a card offering to help out however she can. She’s planned a couple of weddings herself, so she knows a whole lot about the process and has a lot of advice to share,” said a source.
The source added, “No doubt Selena will be happy to have her guidance. It’s hard enough planning a wedding, but a celebrity one is on a different level so any help she can get will be appreciated.”
Jennifer, 55, and Selena, share the same manager. They have been close friends since the two met in a bathroom at a Vanity Fair event. -

Hollywood had a rough 2024… Here’s who came out on top
There were plenty of things that went wrong for Hollywood in the year 2024. There were box office flops (sorry, “Joker: Folie à Deux” and “Kraven the Hunter”), mass layoffs, continued labor unrest and a stunning lack of employment in the production space due to a broad contraction in the media and entertainment sector.
But not everything, or everyone, failed.
Disney gets its mojo back
Bob Iger came into 2024 with a challenging hand — a low stock price, a money-losing streaming business, a renewed proxy campaign from a prominent investor and a movie slate with only one Marvel Studios film. But while Disney is not fully in the clear yet, the company has emerged much stronger than many people expected.
Iger decisively beat the onslaught from Nelson Peltz and his hard-charging allies. The movie studio, which had a wobbly track record during the post-pandemic years, scored two $1-billion hits — “Inside Out 2” and “Deadpool and Wolverine” — and other big performers including “Moana 2” and “Alien: Romulus.” The stock is up more than 25% since the beginning of the year. Cable programmer and Hulu supplier FX dominated the TV awards season with “Shogun” and “The Bear.” And those streaming services? They’ve started turning quarterly profits, when all put together.
Yeah, sure, you might say. But serious questions remain in Disney’s comeback story. For example, how will ESPN’s upcoming flagship streaming service fare when it launches next year?
And here’s the big one: Who’s going to replace Iger when he steps down for good this time? Will it be one of the four division heads: TV chair Dana Walden, parks boss Josh D’Amaro, ESPN head Jimmy Pitaro or film czar Alan Bergman? Or an outsider? With James P. Gorman (Morgan Stanley‘s outgoing executive chairman) leading the succession process, Disney is hoping this transfer of power is less dramatic than previous rounds.
We’ll see in due time, as the company has set early 2026 as its target for making its selection.
David Ellison conquers the mountain
The deal almost fell apart, but after so much wrangling, Paramount Global will soon have a new chief: David Ellison, the son of Oracle Corp. billionaire Larry Ellison.
The task of fixing all that broke at Paramount under the Redstone family won’t be easy. Years of chronic under-investment won’t be overcome immediately, no matter how much techno know-how Ellison and his team bring to the famed Paramount movie studio, CBS, a second-tier streaming service and a collection of faltering cable networks. Cost cutting has already come and discussions about restructuring and leadership changes are underway.
Paramount has franchises like “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “Top Gun” and the Taylor Sheridan universe, but it needs more, and it needs to do more with what it has, according to Ellison and his private equity backers at RedBird. Easier said than done. But the industry is ready to give Ellison a chance. After all, he’s a movie guy.
This clearly won’t be the last of the big studio deals. Analysts expect more consolidation as cable channels continue to lose power, especially with the Trump administration anticipated to be more favorable to mergers and acquisitions than the Biden White House.
The movie musical makes a comeback
No one mourns the wicked, and no one should fear the movie musical. Universal Pictures and Jon M. Chu’s big-screen rendering of the Broadway smash “Wicked” has made hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office (mostly in the U.S.) and instantly catapulted Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo into the Oscar race. “Part Two,” now titled “Wicked: For Good,” comes out next year.
The movie musical is a tradition as old as Hollywood itself, but the genre had come on hard times in recent years, thanks to flops such as “Cats,” “Dear Evan Hansen” and “The Color Purple.” Despite the success of movies such as “Wonka” and “The Greatest Showman,” studios seemed nervous to advertise the musical elements of their song-and-dance extravaganzas. Well, no need this time. If anyone went into “Wicked” not knowing it was a musical, that’s on them.
Studios should know musicals aren’t a turn-off for audiences, especially if fans are already obsessed with the soundtrack. That level of familiarity is what helped propel the record-breaking box office opening weekend of “Moana 2.” (Animation has been a true bright spot for the movie business, with the “Inside Out” sequel, “Despicable Me 4” and “The Wild Robot”).
Funnily enough, “Wicked” isn’t the only musical in the awards conversation. Netflix’s big contender is the operatic “Emilia Pérez,” a boundary-pushing festival darling that received mostly positive reviews but a tepid response from streaming audiences.
Podcasters shake up news media
Politicians doing podcast interviews and nonpolitical media appearances is not a new phenomenon. The latter is a tradition going back to Richard Nixon going on “Laugh-In” and Bill Clinton playing the sax on “The Arsenio Hall Show.”
But for President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign, sitting for long, friendly podcast interviews wasn’t just part of the Republican presidential candidate’s media strategy. It was the strategy. Trump talked at length to Joe Rogan, Theo Von and the “Flagrant” guys Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, all to target their loyal audience of young men. Trump did this while avoiding traditional outlets like “60 Minutes,” which he sued over how it edited its interview with his opponent.
Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed campaign also used podcasts like Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy,” while still doing more standard TV appearances. Hindsight suggests her interview on “The View,” in which she couldn’t say what she would’ve done differently from President Biden, might’ve done more harm than good.
The biggest takeaway? The declining relevance of legacy news media as a force that can shape public opinion — a consequence of declining viewership and historically low trust in mainstream institutions. -

Christopher Nolan’s next with Tom-Zendaya adapted from Homer’s epic
Ace Hollywood director Christopher Nolan’s next project is an adaptation of Homer’s epic, titled, The Odyssey. The film will feature a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Zendaya. This new venture marks Nolan’s return to adapting classic literature, following his acclaimed works in original storytelling.
Universal Studios recently shared the announcement that Nolan’s much talked-about film has finally got a title. Slated for a theatrical release in the summer of 2026, the highly-anticipated film is an adaptation of ancient Greek poet Homer’s genre-defining epic, The Odyssey.
The Studio’s post on X read, “Christopher Nolan’s next film, The Odyssey, is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand-new IMAX film technology. The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theatres everywhere on July 17, 2026 (sic).”
Besides Tom Holland, Zendaya and Matt Damon, the film also reportedly features Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron in important roles. The Odyssey is expected to go on floors early next year and will hit IMAX theatres on July 17, 2026.
The Odyssey is a celebrated Greek epic that chronicles the adventures of Odysseus as he attempts to return home after the Trojan War. -

Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio unite for Karate Kids
Action-movie legend Jackie Chan has united with the original Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio, for the upcoming Karate Kid: Legends. Sony Pictures just dropped a trailer of the film featuring Chan, Macchio, and Ben Wang. The youngster is known for works such as Chang Can Dunk and American Born Chinese. He will be collaborating with arguably the biggest names in the Karate Kid universe and will need to fill some big shoes. Chan’s last stint in this universe was in the 2010 remake, starring Jaden Smith as the protagonist.
While the Snake in The Eagle’s Shadow star is returning after a long time, Macchio has been going strong, playing Daniel LaRusso in the spinoff Cobra Kai. Part two of the sixth season dropped on November 15, and the show has amassed a lot of love and support from all audiences. The film’s release was further delayed because the makers did not want it to clash with Cobra Kai. The trailer of the film shows Ben Wang’s character struggling to make a place for himself after moving from Beijing to New York with his mother. -

Mufasa The Lion King: Visually stunning but a forgettable prequel
Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King takes us back to the Pride Lands to explore the origin story of the mighty lion king, Mufasa. The prequel to The Lion King [1994] dives into the humble beginnings of Simba’s father, tracing his journey from an orphaned cub – an outsider – to his rise as the beloved leader of Pride Rock.
Mufasa: The Lion King opens with Rafiki (John Kani) recounting the story of Mufasa (voiced by Aaron Pierre) to Kiara [Simba’s daughter], Timon and Pumbaa, sharing how the once-ordinary cub overcame his vulnerabilities and status as an outsider to become a king. During a flood, Mufasa gets separated from his parents to find himself in new surroundings where he meets Taka [Kelvin Harrison Jr], who eventually becomes Scar. The bond between young Mufasa and Taka starts as brotherly love but spirals into rivalry during their escapade to Milele. Despite meeting familiar characters, the lacklustre screenplay by Jeff Nathanson undercuts the story’s emotional depth, leaving potentially poignant moments feeling hollow. On the brighter side, the visuals are fantastic. Disney once again delivers photo-realistic animation that brings the Pride Lands to life with stunning detail. -

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s divorce on hold
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s highly-publicised split is far from over. After almost 6 months of their Will they? Won’t they? divorce drama and promises to part amicably, tensions are running high behind the scenes as they struggle to finalise details. The situation has become so contentious that Affleck has reportedly been spending more time with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner while avoiding his ex at all costs. Their complicated co-parenting scene only adds to the drama, as they both seek a smooth transition for their blended families.
The Jenny From the Block singer filed for divorce without a lawyer on the couple’s second wedding anniversary. Since then, the two have largely been spending time apart and rarely been seen together, despite their attempts to present a friendly split. A source told In Touch that the situation has grown “increasingly tense and argumentative,” with Affleck choosing to spend more time with his ex-wife rather than addressing the ongoing divorce.
Lopez “feels sidelined and frustrated,” believing Affleck should meet her demands, but he remains resolute believing he has been fair and that Lopez is deliberately prolonging the process.
“It’s been six months since she filed and nothing has been resolved, it doesn’t seem like they’re anywhere close to finalising the divorce,” the source added. The insider continued, “They both said they wanted to do it amicably and have even talked a good game about wanting to consciously uncouple, but that plan seems to be out the window because they can’t agree on how to divide things up, which of course is affecting things.”
The divorce argument makes sense since the couple entered their marriage on uneven footing, with Lopez’s $400 million net worth greatly outweighing Affleck’s $150 million, and no prenup in place. “She’s worth more than twice as much as him so it’s especially hard for him not to see this as her being vindictive and greedy,” the source added. “They both say they’re desperate to avoid more drama, but the longer this drags on, the worse it’s going to get.” -

Angelina Jolie again ‘losing one of her’ children as her battle with Brad Pitt continues
Angelina Jolie is “quickly losing her kids one by one” as her 18-year-old daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, prepares to leave home and pursue dance.
RadarOnline cited that the actress finds it difficult to cope with the prospect of her most “private” children moving out, as her ongoing legal disputes with ex-husband Brad Pitt over a French winery continue to add stress to her life.
“It’s all happening so quickly,” a source close to the family told Radar Online. “One by one, her kids are moving out, and no matter how natural it is in the cycle of life, it’s just very hard for Angelina to come to terms with.”
Shiloh intends to live with friends while pursuing her passion for dance. “It’s especially nerve-racking for Ange to send Shiloh into the world because she wants to pursue dance, and it’s not a traditional career path. She wants to live with friends while she studies dance, which means she won’t be on a university campus with all the protections that come with living in a dorm,” they explained.
“She’s proud of Shiloh and would never hold her back from her dreams,” the source continued. “Still, it won’t be easy for her to let go.”
Having moved out at just 16, the Maleficent star “sees a lot of herself in Shiloh, who can be quite a free spirit, so the idea of her being out on her own in the world is pretty terrifying. She just can’t help but worry about what sort of trouble she could get into,” the insider shared.
Shiloh has also legally dropped her father’s last name, ‘Pitt’ earlier this year. This decision reportedly left Pitt feeling deeply hurt. “They used to have a good relationship, but that’s in the past, and it breaks his heart,” a source told Page Six earlier. “Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him. He feels like Angelina knows exactly what she’s doing.”
Jolie and Pitt, who officially divorced in 2019, share six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. -

Selena Gomez opens up about ‘isolating’ Hollywood
On December 9, Selena Gomez, the breakout star of The Emilia Perez Star, received a prestigious Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress, a recognition that marks a significant milestone in her career. Just a day later, she attended the Academy Women’s Luncheon Presented by Chanel alongside Ariana Grande. The singer told People Magazine, “I’m overwhelmed, very, very honoured and grateful.”
During her keynote speech, Gomez highlighted, “I know firsthand how isolating this industry will feel at times, but moments like this and rooms like this, and talking to all these amazing women just reminds me that I’m not alone, and we aren’t alone.” She then gestured towards her table of supporters which included Grande, Amy Adams, Pamela Anderson, Awkwafina, Gal Gadot, Rita Wilson, Mila Kunis and Olivia Wilde.
Gomez shared on the red carpet that she focuses on small positive things amid the chaos of negativity. She told People Magazine, “It’s humour for me. I know people say it’s a defence mechanism, however, I think it’s a great distraction from all of the noise sometimes. And just to have a laugh with your friends or do something that can bring you a little bit of light.”
For others who might feel lonely in Hollywood, the Same Old Love singer offered her help. She said, “To the young women watching us, I just want you to know that you are heard and you are seen, and your perspective matters deeply. And if you ever feel lonely at any event, I’m usually on my phone, playing some sort of weird game. Just come up to me, and I’ll be happy to chat.”
She added, “When we share and we stand together, we create a ripple effect that stretches far beyond our own lives. That’s why events like [this] are so important, they’re a celebration of our collective achievements, but they’re also a reminder of the work we still have to do.”

The actor will apparently feature in the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, directed by the Russo Brothers. Robert Downey Jr is also confirmed to join the cast, taking on the role of Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom. Neither Marvel Studios, Evans, nor his representatives have provided official statements regarding the news.
The Russo Brothers, who have previously worked with Evans and Downey Jr on Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, will return to direct Avengers: Doomsday as well as its direct sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026.
The new Marvel feature project deals with multiple timelines and universes and is expected to reunite many actors from previous and current films. Joe and Anthony Russo are directing Doomsday and 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars, which will conclude the MCU’s Multiverse Saga.
They have dropped hints that the films will be connected to the two-part story of 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. That sets the stage for more reunions which might include Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to premiere on May 1, 2026, with Secret Wars expected to land on May 7, 2027.
Chris retired from MCU in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame which showed Captain America had aged into an old man and passed the character’s patriotic shield to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson.
