Hrithik Roshan recently celebrated an anniversary with his girlfriend Saba Azad. On Thursday, October 10, night, the couple was spotted exiting filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s wife birthday bash. And like a good, ‘protective’ boyfriend, Hrithik was seen guiding Saba through the waiting paparazzi around them.
On October 10, Fighter and Pathaan director Siddharth Anand’s wife Mamta hosted her birthday bash at a restaurant in Mumbai. Several Bollywood celebs attended. Hrithik, who worked with Siddharth in Fighter, also arrived with Saba. In videos shared by paparazzi on social media, Hrithik and Saba were spotted leaving the venue late at night. Siddharth Anand even came to the gate to see them off. In the video, Hrithik bids farewell to Siddharth as the shutterbugs stationed outside the restaurant request them to pose for the camera.
The actor then takes Saba by her hand, guiding her through the waiting paparazzi. Hrithik’s gesture impressed the fans with many of them praising him on social media. “We love a protective king,” wrote one. Another added, “Look at how caring he is.”
On October 1, Hrithik and Saba celebrated their third anniversary together. The couple has been dating since 2021. Hrithik and Saba shared a picture from one of their vacation. Hrithik captioned his post as, “Happy anniversary partner (heart emoji) 1.10.2024 @sabazad.” Saba shared the same photo on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Happy 3 years partner (heart emoji) 1.10.2024.” Hrithik and Saba were spotted together for the first time in February 2022 on a dinner date. The duo was then seen arriving at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday celebrations in 2022, entering the party hand-in-hand. Saba was recently seen at the Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 celebrations at Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan’s house.

Hrithik Roshan on crutches after muscle injury
Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram handle and revealed he had been injured. He posted a photo of himself on crutches and said it was due to a muscle pull. He narrated what strength means to him as he recalled the time when his grandfather was injured but refused to be in a wheelchair. In the mirror selfie, the Fighter actor is seen in his casual look while standing with the help of his crutches. He wrote, “Good afternoon. How many of you out there ever needed to be on crutches or a wheelchair n how did that make you feel?”
Remembering the time when his grandfather injured himself, he added, “I remember my grandfather refusing to sit on a wheelchair at the airport because it wouldn’t align with his own mental image of himself as “strong”. I remember saying “But Deda, its just an injury and nothing to do with how old you are! It will help heal the injury n not damage it further!” It made me so sad to see how strong he needed to be just to hide the fear n embarrassment on the inside. I couldn’t make sense of it. Made me feel helpless. I argued that the age factor is not applicable cause he needs the wheelchair for an injury and not his old age. He refused n kept the strong image on display for strangers (who literally didn’t care). It worsened his pain and delayed the healing.”
He went on to talk about how men are conditioned to believe that they are strong and continued, “There definitely is merit in that kind of conditioning, its a virtue. It’s the mentality of a soldier. My dad comes from the same conditioning. MEN are strong. But if you say soldiers never need crutches And even when they medically do, they must refuse, just for the sake of keeping the illusion of strong intact, Then I just think that the virtue has been stretched so far that it borders on plain stupidity.”
Sharing his take on strength, he added, “I believe true strength is being relaxed, composed and fully aware that nothing, not crutches, not a wheelchair, not any inability or vulnerability – and certainly not any sitting position can lessen or alter the image of that GIANT that you are on the inside. Strength is not always being Rambo against all odds with a machine gun saying “f**k em!” That’s applicable sure. Sometimes. And it’s the kind we all aspire for. Even me.” -
Hrithik-Deepika’s ‘Fighter’ song ‘Bekaar Dil’ added to film 2 weeks after release
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Fighter’ is currently running in theatres. It released on January 25. Now, ahead of the much-awaited Valentine’s Day, the film’s director Siddharth Anand treated the viewers with yet another track. Titled ‘Bekaar Dil’, the makers will release the song in theatres on February 9.
The makers of ‘Fighter’ are gearing up to release the romantic song ‘Bekaar Dil’in the theatres on Friday. The song has already garnered love from audience across. Siddharth Anand shared the announcement on his X handle on Thursday and wrote, “The love anthem from Fighter – #BekaarDil in Cinemas all over India from the Friday. After many years this is happening..a song is added into the film 2 weeks after release! And!! Watch #ishqjaisakuch 1 minute AFTER the end titles!! Wait for it!!! It’s worth it (sic)!”
Meanwhile, ‘Fighter’ successfully completed two weeks of theatrical run. On its 14th day in theatres, the aerial actioner saw a slight slump in collections in India. Now, all eyes are on the weekend to see if there would be an incline in numbers. ‘Fighter’ grossed over Rs 300 crore at the box office worldwide and is still going strong.
In India, the film is marching towards the Rs 200-crore (net) mark and is expected to touch the milestone in less than a week. On Day 14, February 7, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 2.75 crore (net) at the domestic box office.
The 14-day total collection of ‘Fighter’ now stands at Rs 184.50 crore net in the country. On February 7, the film had an overall occupancy of 10.17 per cent in India.

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are among Bollywood A-listers, who keep inspiring fans with their fitness regime. Director Siddharth Anand, who is currently awaiting the release of his film Fighter and is busy promoting it, spoke to the media about how he convinced Hrithik and Deepika to show their chiselled physique. Refering to earlier reports stating Shah Rukh Khan was reluctant to flaunt his abs in the song Jhoome Jo Pathaan, he was asked if it was same with Deepika and Hrithik.
He responded saying, “It’s not easy to convince them, first of all. Honestly, it stems from the confidence that they have. They have confidence in themselves, in their appearance, about how good-looking they are. Just look at them. Inko kuch bolne ki zaroorat nhi padti hai”
“As I have said in other interviews, just see how gorgeous they are looking. Honestly, I don’t need to do anything. Just roll it at 48 frames and make them walk and put good music.” Replying to this, Hrithik said, “You can trust Sid,” to which Siddharth replied that they had worked very hard. “Jokes apart, it’s not easy to look like this. I think they put in a lot of effort, and the one word that I use is sacrifice. There’s a lot of sacrifice that goes into looking like this, and they are relentless. They know what to wear to the beach or while dancing. Imagine us dancing shirtless. Every part is going to be jumping. They are like rock; they are sculpted, and it’s a lot of effort that goes into it,” he added.
Deepika said the most important factor is having faith that the filmmaker will convey the material with the appropriate sensibility and style. Actors then try to have the conversation or maybe just let it happen, she said, adding, “You have faith in the director. She went on, “You know it will be presented properly; you trust his sense of style.”
With the discourse majorly around fitness, Siddharth added that Anil Kapoor also put a lot of effort into looking fit. “Does he look like 42? Can anyone say he’s 42?” To this, Anil responded, “Why are you underlining age?”
He added that he received a humorous response when he questioned Anil Kapoor about his plans for the New Year and his destination. “He (Anil Kapoor) says if he stays in the city, he will have to go attend parties, eat and drink, so he goes into a health farm or a health resort and does yoga there,” Siddharth Anand shared. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have joined forces for the very first time for ‘Fighter’. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the movie is one of the most-anticipated projects of next year. Now the makers of the film took to social media and announced the final schedule wrap of ‘Fighter’. On November 1, Siddharth Anand took to Instagram to announce the completion of the ‘Fighter’ shoot. Sharing a picture of a camera, he captioned, “And it’s a film shoot wrap on #FIGHTER (sic).”
Hrithik Roshan also took to his Instagram handle to repost the picture.
Earlier in October, a BTS picture of the cast of ‘Fighter’, from Italy, surfaced on social media. Hrithik Roshan recently pointed out how he feels about being termed a star versus being called an actor. He said while one term makes him comfortable and relaxed, the other one felt like a ‘burden’ to me. Hrithik added he is thankful for his stardom. In a recent interview, Hrithik opened up about his films and told Galatta Plus, “Every time there’s a Vedha, Super 30 life actually becomes very easy because all you have to do, is your job as an actor. When you do films like Bang Bang, War or Fighter then you have the whole weight of being a star. And, you have to get the aesthetics right, all the expectations, look at certain way, that really can sap you. That is very very difficult process. For me, doing a film like Super 30, Kaabil is a joy because all I have to focus on is being real, feeling my lines.

Manoj Bajpayee opts out of Indian remake of Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘The Night Manager’
Actor Manoj Bajpayee has opted out to play the villain in the Hrithik Roshan-led Indian remake of the British limited series, The Night Manager. He was about to play Richard Roper, played by Hugh Laurie in original – an arms dealer who disguises himself to be a business tycoon.
According to a daily, Manoj Bajpayee was in advanced talks with the makers for the series but due to the second wave of the pandemic, two of his productions got delayed. As a result, he realised that he won’t be able to match his dates with the rest of the starcast, and decided to bow out of the venture. The actor is currently shooting for a film in Uttarakhand and will pay attention to his pending projects after the shoot of the film.
While Hrithik Roshan has been roped in for playing Jonathan Pine in the show, the makers are in search of a new replacement for Manoj Bajpayee’s character.
The Night Manager is a British television serial directed by Susanne Bier and starring Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, David Harewood, Tom Hollander, and Elizabeth Debicki in pivotal roles. The series originally premiered on BBC One on February 21, 2016.
