Bollywood superstar and fashion icon Kareena Kapoor Khan recently graced an event in Abu Dhabi for a jewellery brand that has her as its brand ambassador. Videos of Kareena from the event have gone viral which show her dressed in a bespoke saree dancing to the song ‘Yeh Ishq Haaye’ from her 2007 film ‘Jab We Met’ directed by Imtiaz Ali. Kareena wore a pink blush tulle saree with a crafted pearl blouse with a leaf pattern of Kashmir from designer Manish Malhotra’s 2024 summer collection. The viral video shows her graceful dancing with the audience rooting and cheering for her mesmerised by her beauty and the impromptu performance. Watch the clip below. ‘Jab We Met’ revolves around Aditya Kashyap (Shahid Kapoor), a heartbroken tycoon, who aimlessly boards a train after attending his ex-girlfriend’s wedding. On board, he meets Geet Dhillon (Kareena), a spontaneous girl who plans to elope with her lover and gets pulled into her rollercoaster life, gradually falling in love with her as she shows him a more fulfilling and entertaining way of living.
Geet was a chatterbox, crazy young girl and Aditya was the stark opposite. The well-known saying ‘Opposites attract’ truly worked for the plot. The film’s songs were also a hit. From ‘Ye Ishq Hai’ to ‘Mauja Hi Mauja, ‘Tum Se Hi’ and ‘Aaoge Jab Tum’, every track from ‘Jab We Met’ weaved magic. Over the years, the film has developed a cult status, and rumors keep circulating time and again about a possible sequel.
On the work front, Kareena will be seen headlining Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’. Starring an excellent ensemble cast of Kareena, Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen, The Buckingham Murders is directed by Hansal Mehta, and written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker. It is produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa Kapoor, and Kareena herself. It is a detective drama. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Who can ever forget the controversial yet ironic song Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai from Subhash Ghai’s 1993 crime drama Khal Nayak, filmed on Madhuri Dixit? Now, the makers of Rajesh A Krishnan’s upcoming heist comedy Crew have rehashed the track and guess who features in the revamped version? Kareena Kapoor.
The new song that the YouTube handle of Tips Official dropped on Wednesday is a groovier version of the original. After hinting at remixing the memorable song through its instantly recognisable coo-coo hook in the trailer, the makers of Crew have finally unveiled the music video, featuring Kareena.
Snippets from the film, featuring the scenes between Tabu and Kapil Sharma, and Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh, have been peppered throughout the music video. However, the highlight is Kareena grooving and lip-syncing to the song in a flowy pink dress at a nightclub. The actor looks gorgeous as she pays a tribute to Madhuri through this recreation. The new song has been remixed by Akshay & IP, sung by Diljit Dosanjh and IP Singh, and written by IP Singh. The original song was sung by Ila Arun and Alka Yagnik, composed by Lakshmikant-Pyarelal, and penned by Anand Bakshi. The voices of Ila and Alka have been partially retained in the recreation. -
Kareena rubbishes pregnancy rumors
Rumor mills were rife that Kareena Kapoor Khan was pregnant with her third child with Saif Ali Khan. However, Kareena decided to shut them down. The actress took to her Instagram Stories and said that it was ‘pasta and wine’. Kareena wrote a hilarious post, “It’s pasta and wine guys…..Calm down… I am NOT pregnant… ufff… Saif said he has already contributed way too much to the population of our country… Enjoy… KKK.” Meanwhile, Kareena has been spending some quality time in London with Saif Ali Khan and their two sons, Taimur and Jeh. She has been keeping her fans updated by sharing glimpses from their vacation on social media. On the work front, she will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha.

Kareena Kapoor to make her OTT debut
Kareena Kapoor has been away from the silver screen since the birth of her second baby Jehangir aka Jeh. However, we have a good news that will leave her fans excited, the actress will be soon making her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s next film. The actress, on Monday, gave her fans a glimpse of her upcoming project, co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead. Sharing the post on her Instagram handle, she wrote, “And so it begins…12th Street Entertainment & Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures present a Netflix Original directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Produced by Jay Shewakramani & Akshai Puri. Produced by Sujoy Ghosh & Thomas Kim.” Kareena Kapoor will be debuting with Netflix’s screen adaptation of Japanese author Keigo Higashino’s The Devotion of Suspect X. Confirming the news to Hindustan Times, the actress said that this project will mark her return to the acting world after the birth of Jeh. The actress further stated that she is quite excited about the project as she will be working with a stellar cast and crew.
