Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had a monumental first week at the box office. The horror-comedy sustained momentum throughout the weekdays following a stellar opening weekend around Diwali. Despite facing the biggest clash with a multi-starrer, Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned Rs 158.25 crore on Day 7. As per early estimates, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected Rs 9.50 crore on Thursday, Nov 7, its seventh day in theaters, reflecting only an 11 per cent drop from Wednesday’s earnings. With this, the film’s lifetime net collections in India have reached Rs158.25 crore, making it Kartik Aaryan’s fastest movie to cross the Rs 150-crore milestone. Given its current momentum, it is expected to surpass the Rs 200-crore mark in its second week. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has broken several records, surpassing the lifetime collections of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani within six days of its release. The film, which hit theatres on November 1, has grossed an impressive Rs 158.25 crore in just a week, surpassing the Rs 149.05 crore lifetime earnings of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar and the Rs 153.60 crore of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, both of which had a longer run in theatres.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third installment of the hit horror-comedy franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which released in 2007 starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. After 17 years, Vidya made her comeback to the franchise, reprising her role as Manjulika. Madhuri Dixit has made a new entry to the franchise along with Triptii.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film continues the story of the iconic haunted mansion, blending spine-tingling horror with doses of comedy. Kartik Aaryan’s portrayal of Rooh Baba, alongside an ensemble cast including Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri, along with a talented bunch of supporting cast including Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar has been loved by the audiences.

Hyderabad (TIP)- The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 kicked off on a star-studded note as Bollywood celebrities Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan graced the opening match between the Telugu Titans and the Bengaluru Bulls. The actors’ presence to promote their upcoming movie ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 3’ added glamour to the already electrifying atmosphere at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Kartik Aaryan, talking about his childhood, shared, “I used to play gali kabaddi’ as a kid but not on a professional level the way it is being played here at the Pro Kabaddi League. It is a lot of fun to watch.”
Vidya Balan, the First Shero of our time, expressed her excitement for the season, saying, “I have enjoyed watching kabaddi. Today we met Pawan (Sehrawat) and Pardeep (Narwal) who are fantastic players. Good luck to the teams for the first match. Pawan is a high-flyer and Pardeep is a record-breaker so I wish them luck for the season.”
The opening night promises thrilling action, featuring star raiders Pawan and Pardeep, followed by a clash between U Mumba’s Sunil Kumar – the most expensive Indian defender in PKL history at INR 1.015 Crores – and Dabang Delhi K.C.’s attacking powerhouse, Naveen Kumar. PKL 11 made history even before the first whistle, with eight players crossing the INR 1 crore mark in the auction. The league is set to unfold across three cities, starting in Hyderabad, then moving to Noida, and concluding in Pune.

Kartik Aaryan addresses being notorious for his dating life
Kartik Aaryan is busy with promotions for his next film Chandu Champion. In a new interview for Raj Shamani’s YouTube channel, the actor addressed the attention on his dating life, and admitted that he is currently single. Kartik has been linked to several actors in the industry, including Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor.
When Kartik was quizzed about his ‘notorious’ dating rumors, the actor said, “Mera personal life at one point pe kaafi talked about ho gaya tha uss moment pe. Tab se aaj tak wahi chal raha hai. Main toh privately bhi date nahi kar raha hu. Abhi toh dara dara ghum raha hoon shayad (My personal life was talked about a lot at one point of time. Till now, it has been the same thing. I am not even dating privately. Just roaming around scared, I guess).” He also added how dating is different in his position because the number of people he meets have become limited. “You meet very few people after getting famous. Kartik Aaryan kickstarts Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion shoot
On Wednesday, July 12, night, Kartik took to Instagram and shared the particular update with fans and followers. “Shubh Aarambh. And the most challenging and exciting journey of my career begins… with the captain @Kabirkhan#ChanduChampion,” he wrote. Kartik also shared a photogram with Kabir Khan from the sets. He looks super cool in the photo rocking a blue and black check cardigan with black joggers and a white beanie as he points at the clapboard for the first take of Chandu Champion which Kabir can be seen holding while wearing a black t-shirt with navy blue jogger pants and white sneakers.
As per a statement, ‘Chandu Champion’ is “based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up.”With the film, the audience will see Kartik doing a film based on a real-life story in which he will portray the character of lead Chandu.
Meanwhile, Kartik is currently basking in the success of ‘Satya Prem Ki Katha’, which received a positive response from the audience. The film stars Kartik alongside Kiara Advani.

Kartik Aaryan announces Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
Actor Kartik Aaryan is all set to revive his role as Rooh Baba as he announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 after the success of his last instalment.He took to his social media handles and dropped an announcement post. He also added a small video featuring his popular dialogue from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was a box office hit. The film will released on the occasion of Diwali 2024.
The video features the abandoned mansion of Bhawanigarh where the storyline of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 takes place. In the video, Kartik is heard saying, “Kya laga kahani khatam ho gayi hai? Darwaje toh bandh hotein hi hai taki ek din phir se khul sake (Did you think the story ended here? Doors are often shut so that they can be opened once more).”
The video follows Kartik dressed up as Rooh Baba as he sings Ami Je Tomar. He repeats his dialogue from the previous plot and says, “Mai aatmao se sirf baat hi nahi karta, aatmein meri andar aa bhi jaati hai (I don’t only talk to dead but they can also possess me).” Sharing the spooky video, Kartik wrote, “Rooh Baba Returns Diwali 2024.” He also used the hashtag ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.’

Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada trailer to be attached to Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan
Kartik Aaryan’s next Shehzada is gearing for a big launch before its release a few days before Valentine’s Day. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film will release on February 10, 2023. The film’s trailer, which is due to be released soon, will also be attached to the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan on January 25, 2023. Kartik’s last theatrical release was the blockbuster hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in May.
The Hindi film also stars Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. Shehzada is the remake of the Allu Arjun’s 2020 Telugu hit, Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo, which also starred Tabu. A first look teaser of the film was launched in November 2022. Dharma Productions considering Rajkummar Rao for Dostana 2?
The past few days in the film industry have been quite dramatic. Kartik Aaryan was ousted from Dharma Productions’ film Dostana 2 which stars Janhvi Kapoor and is a launchpad for Television actor Lakshya in movies. The project kicked off in 2019 but due to the pandemic, the production came to a halt in 2020. As the shooting began, creative differences between Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan led to this conclusion. Now, that the lead actor’s role is once again available, the makers are going back to their first choice.
A source revealed Bollywood Hungama, “Dharma Productions is considering to bring Rajkummar Rao on board for Dostana 2. He was their first choice when the project was being made but at the time, he couldn’t do the film due to his dates. Now, that makers are keen on enlisting someone, they are once again thinking of Rao who was fit for the role. Interestingly, Rao and Janhvi Kapoor recently worked together in horror-comedy Roohi and have a great work rapport.”
