Several speculations have been making the rounds about Kriti Sanon getting married this year. She has been rumoured to be dating UK-based businessman Kabir Bahia.
Just a few days ago, they were clicked arriving together at the Delhi airport. Last year, the rumoured couple was also seen celebrating Christmas together with friends. Not only this, they have been spotted out and about many times, further adding fuel to the assumptions.
However, amid speculation about her personal life, a source from the industry has set the record straight by saying marriage is not on the cards for Kriti this year. She has a packed schedule for 2025 and is busy shooting for the same.
A source from the industry shared, “Where does Kriti even have the time this year? She’s in Delhi right now, fully focused on shooting for Aanand L Rai’s film for the next few months. And as soon as that’s done, she’s straight onto her next project, there’s barely a break in between.”
Tere Ishk Mein, where she plays Mukti, is one of the most anticipated projects by Aanand L Rai. The film’s announcement video has already sparked interest among fans.
The source further revealed, “One of her biggest commitments right now is Tere Ishk Mein, where she plays Mukti. The film announcement video has already created a lot of buzz, and Kriti is completely invested in bringing Mukti to life. Once she wraps that up, she’s set to start work on a highly anticipated sequel, but it’s too early to share details. With so much going on work-wise, marriage is not on the cards this year.”

Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon made a rare appearance with rumoured boyfriend Kabir Bahia in Mumbai on Friday as they stepped out for dinner at Bastian.
The duo was accompanied by Kriti’s sister, Nupur Sanon.
For the outing, Kriti opted for a chic, strapless denim dress, while Kabir kept it casual in a sweatshirt, jacket, and denim jeans.
The rumoured couple arrived at the restaurant in the same car. Kriti, who was wearing a face mask, walked straight inside and didn’t pose for the paparazzi.
While returning, Kabir looked shy as he tried to avoid attention from the paparazzi.

Rumours of Kriti dating UK-based businessman Kabir Bahia began when the two went for a vacation to Greece on her birthday. Photos of them partying together on the Greek island of Mykonos went viral. Later, they celebrated Christmas and New Year together.
Kabir is the founder of Worldwide Aviation and Tourism Limited and the son of Kuljinder Bahia, owner of Southall Travel, a UK-based travel agency.
Born in 1999, he studied at Millfield School and graduated in 2018. His family background and professional achievements have made him a notable figure in business circles.
Kriti Sanon is yet to comment on her relationship status publicly. She was last seen in the Netflix film Do Patti. -
Kriti Sanon joins Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein
Bollywood star Kriti Sanon is all set to star opposite South sensation Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming romantic drama, Tere Ishk Mein. The film marks yet another collaboration between Dhanush and Aanand L Rai after the critically acclaimed Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re.
On January 28, the makers of Tere Ishk Mein released an intense first-look video featuring Kriti Sanon. The video shows the actor walking through a riot with a bottle of kerosene in her hand, delivering a powerful monologue in Hindi:
“You love me, I know, but it isn’t necessary that I feel the same for you. You may raise the city to chaos in your frenzy, but it isn’t necessary that I, too, burn in pain. Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon to reunite for the 2nd time in Homi Adajania’s Cocktail 2
A sequel to the 2012 Homi Adajania film Cocktail is reportedly underway. A Pinkvilla report states that the sequel, which will be helmed by Homi again, will see Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon reunite again after their Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
The publication quoted sources stating that Dinesh Vijan will produce the sequel to the hit film. Much like the first film, it will be a love triangle, with the hunt on for another female lead. Rashmika Mandanna’s name has also been attached to the project, according to some recent reports.
“After the success of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are reuniting on Cocktail 2. The duo loved the script and are excited to venture into the world of this romantic comedy,” they quoted a source as saying.
When Cocktail was released in 2012, the film became a game changer for Deepika, skyrocketing her career. The film was successful when it was released, with the story penned by Imtiaz Ali. It told the story of a love triangle between a playboy, a photographer and a conservative girl. The rom-com’s sequel will also see Luv reportedly be involved in the process. The casting for the film is reportedly underway and will go on floors in May 2025.
Shahid, last seen in TBMAUJ, is shooting for Rosshan Andrrews’ Deva with Pooja Hegde. He has also reportedly said yes to films directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. Actor Kriti Sanon has announced the schedule wrap of her upcoming thriller film ‘Do Patti’. Taking to Instagram, Kriti shared a string of pictures and videos which she captioned, “Manali.. Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, ‘Do Patti’ is produced by Kathha Pictures and co-produced by Kriti Sanon, also written by Kanika Dhillon and will stream exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix.
The film is set to take viewers on a thrilling suspense-filled ride like never before and transport audiences to the mesmerizing hills of North India, which serve as a backdrop for the mystery and intrigue to unfold.
The film also stars Kajol in the lead role.
The official release date of ‘Do Patti’ is still awaited. ‘Do Patti’ marks Kriti’s second collaboration with Kajol after ‘Dilwale’.

The prestigious 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan on Tuesday, October 17, (October 17). The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of talented individuals in the film industry. President Draupadi Murmu presented the awards in various categories and also conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2021 on Waheeda Rehman.

Rocketry is best feature film; Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon bag acting honors
Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon have jointly won the National Film Award in the Best Actress category for their films Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi, respectively, while Telugu actor Allu Arjun has been named the Best Actor for his film Pushpa: The Rise’.
R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan, has been adjudged the Best Feature Film in the 69th National Film Awards announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in New Delhi on Thursday, August 24. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biographical drama Gangubai Kathiawadi has also won the Best Screenplay (adapted) — written by Bhansali and Utkarshini Vashishtha — and the Best Dialogues award for Vashishtha and Prakash Kapadia. Bhansali has also been named the best editor for the film, while Preetisheel Singh D’souza has won the award for best make-up artist for Gangubai. Actors Pankaj Tripathi and Pallavi Joshi have bagged the best supporting actor awards for Mimi and The Kashmir Files, respectively.
The Kashmir Files has also won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration. Shoojit Sircar’s biographical historical drama Sardar Udham has also bagged several awards. Apart from being named the Best Hindi Film, it has been awarded Best Cinematography (Avik Mukhopadhyay), Best Audiography (Sinoy Joseph), Best Production Design (Dmitrii Malich and Mansi Dhruv Mehta) and Best Costume Design (Veera Kapur Ee) awards.
The Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a director has been awarded to Malayalam film Meppadiyan, while Assamese film The Resonance has bagged the award for Best Film on Social Issues.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR has won the Best Music Director (background score) award (M M Keeravaani), Best Special Effects (V Srinivas Mohan), Best Choreography (Prem Rakshith), Best Male Playback Singer (Kaala Bhairava for the song Maayava Chaayavaa) and Best Action Direction (Stunt Choreography) award (King Soloman). The film has also bagged the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The National Awards, 2021, were selected by an 11-member jury headed by filmmaker Ketan Mehta. The award for the Best Director went to Nikhil Mahajan for Marathi film Godavari. Officials said the awards are meant for films that were released/certified in 2021; the awards for the consequent year – 2022 – will be declared in a few weeks.

Do Patti: Kriti Sanon, Kajol and Kanika Dhillon to team up for a mystery thriller
Kriti Sanon and Kajol are all set to team up for a mystery thriller film. Titled Do Patti, the film is actor-turned-producer Kriti’s maiden project from her newly announced production house Blue Butterfly Films.
As per a press release, Do Patti starring Kriti Sanon and Kajol in lead roles will be set in the hills of North India. Along with Kriti, writer Kanika Dhillon is also on board as a producer.
Do Patti marks Kriti Sanon and Kajol’s onscreen reunion after eight years since Dilwale’s release. Kriti, who recently announced her production venture opened up about the film saying, “Do Patti is a script that holds a very special place in my heart as it marks my debut as a Producer with my production house Blue Butterfly Films. I love every single aspect of filmmaking and have always wanted to be more creatively involved in stories that touch my heart. And I felt in my gut that I was ready to shift the gear and do more. I’m excited to collaborate with the extremely talented Kanika Dhillon as a producer. Adipurush sees a new low after minting Rs 400 crore globally
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush successfully completed a week in theatres amid multiple controversies and calls for a ban. Despite negative reviews, the film, directed by Om Raut, raked in over Rs 400 crore at the box office worldwide. However, the mythological drama registered its lowest collection yet on June 22 in India. Adipurush is now relying on the weekend to see some incline in collection. If the film doesn’t pick up pace during the weekend, then Adipurush will be heading towards a disaster.
Adipurush is a 3D film which hit theatres on June 16 in multiple languages. Ever since its release, the film has been receiving negative reviews from the critics and audiences alike. The Prabhas-starrer, which was made on a massive budget, finally crossed Rs 400 crore at the box office globally. However, after the opening weekend, the film has been seeing a decline in collection. Now all eyes are on the weekend. The film will have to pick up pace to breakeven.
On June 22, Adipurush completed one week in theatres and it is estimated to have earned Rs 5.50 crore in India (net). This takes the total collection to Rs 260.55 crore with an occupancy rate of 10.17 per cent in Hindi.‘Adipurush’ makers revise Lord Hanuman’s dialogue
The makers of ‘Adipurush’ have been receiving flak for majorly two reasons – VFX and dialogues. A while back, the makers of the film decided to revise cringe-worthy dialogues from the film. One of which, was Lord Hanuman telling Indrajeet ‘jalegi tere baap ki’.
‘Adipurush’ makers have now revised the same. We came across a leaked visual where the word ‘baap was replaced’ with that of ‘Lanka’. Prabhas-starrer ‘Adipurush’ has been brutally trolled online for its crass dialogues. After all the flak, the makers had promised the audience to release a revised version of the film with a few changed dialogues. And so, they did.
In a clip released online, we can see Lord Hanuman (played by Devdatta Nage), telling Indrajeet “Kapda teri Lanka ka, tel teri Lanka ka, aag bhi tere Lanka ki, jalega bhi teri Lanka hi.” In case you still missed, ‘baap’ has been replaced with ‘Lanka’. -
Kriti Sanon and Prabhas to get engaged soon?
Kriti Sanon who previously denied dating reports with co-star Prabhas, is now rumoured to get engaged soon. Reacting to the speculations, Prabhas’ team has dismissed the claims. Kriti and Prabhas will be starring together in their upcoming film, Adipurush.
It all started when self-proclaimed film critic Umair Sandhu tweeted, “BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives!! So Happy for them.” Earlier, dating rumours between Kriti and Prabhas sparked after the release of Adipurush teaser launch. Varun Dhawan who worked with Kriti in Bhediya, further fuelled the fire by hinting at Kriti’s relationship. However, he didn’t name Prabhas.
While Kriti strongly quashed any such claims back then, now Prabhas’ team reacted to reports for engagement. His team told ETimes, “’Prabhas and Kriti are just friends. The news about them getting engaged is not true.” Earlier, Varun Dhawan was asked by Karan Johar on a show to name ‘eligible single women from the Hindi film industry.’ He skipped Kriti from the list and reasoned, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”
Later, Kriti clarified on her Instagram Stories, “It’s neither pyaar (love), nor PR.. our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours (woman facepalming emoji). Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless! (folded hands and shrug emoji).”
Meanwhile, Adipurush is produced by T Series and Retrophiles and directed by Om Raut. It is slated to hit the theatres on June 16, 2023. The film is based on the epic Ramayana. While Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan stars as the antagonist Lankesh in the movie. Kriti will be seen as Janaki and Sunny Singh as Lakshman.

Filmfare Awards: Ranveer, Kriti Sanon win best actor, actress
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Male) award for his cricket drama ’83’ at the 67th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai, while Kriti Sanon bagged the Best Actor in a Lead Role (female) award for ‘Mimi’. Ranveer Singh shared the stage with his wife Deepika Padukone while accepting the “black lady”. Prior to Filmfare, Ranveer Singh was given the Best Actor award for his performance in ’83’ at The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2022. Helmed by Kabir Khan, ’83’ revolves around India’s historical 1983 Cricket World Cup win. The movie features Ranveer as Kapil Dev, captain of the World Cup-winning team. Speaking of Kriti Sanon, she was honoured for her performance in ‘Mimi’, which was released in 2021.
Earlier in May 2022, Kriti won her career’s first best actress award, and that too at the 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards in Abu Dhabi. Celebrities like Vicky Kaushal, Asees Kaur, B Praak, Vidya Balan, Vishnuvardhan, and Pankaj Tripathi have also bagged trophies at the 67th Filmfare Awards in different categories.

Kriti Sanon on link-up rumors: I wish I had that interesting life
Actor Kriti Sanon posts one video with her co-star Kartik Aaryan, and the rumor mill goes into overdrive speculating that they are dating. But for her, it is just another “petty” thing to ignore. And she feels it is an outcome of the growing popularity of social media. “It is (result of) people’s need for information. I don’t know if social media is a great thing to happen to us or a bad thing that happened to us. I have mixed feelings when it comes to that,” Sanon tells us when asked about the current speculation. “If you ask me about these petty things, they don’t bother me at all. It just makes you feel like ‘I wish my life was as interesting as it sounded it to be,” she quips. After spending eight years in the industry, Sanon is still learning to live with the constant scrutiny on personal and work life. “I know that this is a part and parcel of being a celebrity and a known face. Kriti Sanon is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Bachchhan Paandey. The actor has now said many male actors have refused starring opposite her, feeling insecure if her role is bigger than them in the film. Kriti Sanon reveals she had to put on 15 kgs in 2 months for Mimi
Kriti Sanon, who is gearing up for the release of her next outing Mimi, for which she had to put on weight for her role of a surrogate mother, recently revealed how she could not shoot for any other project for some months due to this.
Talking about setting aside a chunk of some months for the shoot of Mimi, Kriti said, “I had to put on 15 kgs in 2 months for Mimi which I could start losing only once I had completed the film.” She added, “It made more sense to not take up any other project during the shoot and even till a few months after since I needed to lose the weight before starting any other project. I did let go of a lot of award show performances too in that period because dancing makes me lose weight very fast.”

Kriti Sanon urges paparazzi to not cover funerals
Kriti Sanon has made a ‘humble request’ to the media and the paparazzi who are sharing visuals from Dilip Kumar’s funeral. The actor took to her Instagram Stories and urged the media to avoid covering celebrity funerals for it’s disturbing to see ‘videos of such a sensitive event with photographers talking casually in the background’.
