The actor expressed her gratitude in a crisp note on her Instagram story. Parineeti also mentioned that she had waited for a film like this for years.
Parineeti Chopra expressed her gratitude for playing Amarjot, Diljit Dosanjh’s on-screen wife in ‘Chamkila’. She wrote a note on Instagram, which can be read, “I am glad that I was able to make an impact with my work in Chamkila This is something I’ve waited for years (sic).”
She continued, “Thank you @imtiazaliofficial for believing in my talent and giving me this opportunity (sic).”
A few days back, Parineeti Chopra shared a glimpse of how they tried to recreate real-life instances from Chamkila and Amarjot’s life on-screen. Posting a video, she wrote, “Diljit and I had the privilege of playing the role of two legends who changed the music landscape in India. Recreating their famous images in the film and seeing them again today gives me goosebumps. Cannot wait to share the world of Chamkila with everyone Wouldn’t have been the same without my jodidaar @diljitdosanjh! (sic).”
For the unaware, both Diljit and Parineeti have lent their voices to some of the original ‘Chamkila’ songs in Punjabi. The film also showcased live music recordings done on location, capturing the rawness and exuberance of each moment as Diljit and Parineeti sang live in multiple instances.

Parineeti Chopra has debunked rumours of her pregnancy by sharing a video of herself wearing ‘fitted clothes’. Recently, during the trailer launch of her upcoming streaming movie Amar Singh Chamkila, Parineeti wore a loose black coloured kaftan dress.
Rumor mills were abuzz with the speculation around the actress’ pregnancy, after her recent wedding with AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. However, the actress had earlier put all rumours to rest, as she took to Instagram stories and wrote a note: “Kaftan dress = pregnancy, Oversized shirt = pregnancy, Comfy Indian kurta = pregnancy.”
Parineeti took to Instagram and shared a reel, wherein she can be seen wearing a white top, matching pants and blazer. The Ishaqzaade actress is giving major boss lady vibes in the outfit.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s royal wedding in Udaipur was mostly a private affair with the couple’s close family members, few AAP politicians and some sportspersons in attendance. Those who couldn’t attend the wedding congratulated the newlyweds on social media. As Parineeti shared the pictures of her and Raghav as bride and groom, many of her industry colleagues wished her in the comments section of the post.
Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra couldn’t be a part of the wedding but was among the first ones to react to Parineeti’s post. Parineeti blushes as paparazzi tease her amid Raghav Chadha engagement rumours
Parineeti Chopra is being regularly spotted at the airport amid rumours of her engagement with politician Raghav Chadha. She was once again spotted at the Mumbai airport Wednesday evening in a bright red sweater, black pants and boots. When the paparazzi enquired her about her plans, she said she was going to London and even offered to show them her boarding pass to make them believe her.
A paparazzo account on Instagram shared a video of Parineeti from the Mumbai airport. She is seen smiling with her head down as photographers surround her. On being asked about her plans, she says, “London ja rahi hu. Main aapko dikhati hu boarding pass (I am going to London, I can show you the boarding pass).”
The paparazzo claimed she is set to get engaged to rumoured boyfriend and Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha on April 10. Fans teased the actor about Raghav in the comments section. A fan wrote, “Parineeti se Rajneeti tak ka safar (the journey of Parineeti to politics).”
Parineeti and Raghav were spotted arriving together at the Mumbai airport this Sunday. Raghav smiled on seeing photographers and requested them to clear the path ahead. They did not answer any queries and left the airport in the same car. A few days back, Raghav also came to pick up Parineeti at the Delhi airport. Though the duo remain tight-lipped about their relationship status, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjeev Arora recently congratulated them on Twitter. Some reports suggest Parineeti and Raghav studied together at the London School of Economics and have been friends for a long time now. Parineeti and Raghav also follow each other on Instagram.

Parineeti Chopra to star in Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila
Actor Parineeti Chopra is all set to star in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming movie Chamkila. The film marks the first collaboration between Parineeti and Imtiaz. As Parineeti has to begin prep for Chamkila, the actor has, unfortunately, decided to opt out of Animal. A trade source said, “Parineeti is going to work with Imtiaz Ali for the first time in her career as the heroine in the ace director’s next, Chamkila. It is a huge moment for her because she has always wanted to creatively collaborate with the visionary director.” He added, “She has to get into prep immediately for the shoot and unfortunately due to this development, she won’t be able to shoot for Animal as there is a major overlap of dates between the two films. So, RK and Pari fans will have to wait a little bit longer for a new project to bring them together on screen.” Parineeti Chopra had signed Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal last year. The film, also starring Anil Kapoor, will be helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame. It is scheduled to release during Dussehra festival this year. Chamkila marks Imtiaz Ali’s return to direction after Love Aaj Kal (2020).

Parineeti posted a set of photos on Instagram, where she stands and stares at the majestic Mt Everest in the distance. We see the mountain ranges and the highest peak in the world shining bright behind the other hills. Parineeti turns about and shows us her smiling face. Parineeti Chopra: Saina was the challenge I was looking for
Actress Parineeti Chopra says the forthcoming sports biopic “Saina” was the challenge she was looking for because she was doing similar roles for a long time. “I was looking for a challenge. The kind of films I was doing, they were more or less extensions of me, or perhaps what writers and directors thought of me. They were writing roles that were similar and I was choosing films that were similar. When this movie, Saina, came into my life, I was exactly looking for a film like this,” said Parineeti.
“I was looking for something to surprise everyone with. I was looking for something I was not known for. I am known as the happy girl-next-door type, but that is not me. I wanted to show the real me on the big-screen. A sports biopic about a person who is still playing and known as the crazy tigress on court is something I was looking for,” she said.
Earlier, actress Shraddha Kapoor was roped in to essay the role of badminton ace Saina Nehwal in the biopic. Shraddha reportedly dropped out owing to her health cndition.
Talking about being trolled on social media after the teaser release, Parineeti said: “I have a different thought process. If I believe that someone is making a genuine point, I tend to agree with them. But when I know that someone is just heckling and saying stuff just to say stuff, I just ignore them.”
