    Raveena slips into red dress as she poses with red roses and candles

    Raveena Tandon has shared some solo pictures clicked in a romantic setting. However, she gave a funny caption as she shared them on Instagram. She is seen in a strapless red dress, with a rose in her hair and red hearts in the background as she poses behind red candles and a row of several red roses.

    Sharing them on Instagram, Raveena wrote, “Mem Batti, Gulaabo, aur mien.” She didn’t reveal the reason behind the celebration. A fan commented on her post, “Membatti gulag aur ap ka sahab deadly combination, koi bechara mar jana h aj (candles, roses and you make a deadly combinaton, it will kill someone today).” Another wrote, “Raveena mam you are looking very beautiful and always young whenever come to Instagram.” One more fan commented, “looking beautiful and gorgeous darling.”

    Raveena had recently attended designer Manish Malhotra’s intimate birthday celebration at his home on Sunday. In the pictures, she was seen sitting on veteran actor’s Rekha’s lap or sitting on the floor besides her as they both joined Manish and others for some fun pics.

    Raveena was last seen in KGF Chapter 2. She had also made her OTT debut with her web series Aranyak. She played a cop in Aranyak and was the lead actor.

    The 90s Bollywood stars, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt have come together for a romantic comedy, titled Ghudhchadi. The film, helmed by debut director Binoy Gandhi, is said to be a mix of romance and drama. It went on floors on Wednesday, Feb 23. The makers announced the film with a small teaser that flashed the names of its cast members. Besides Raveena and Sanjay, the film also stars Aruna Irani and Khushalii Kumar (daughter of Gulshan Kumar). It will also mark the Bollywood debut of Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor Parth Samthaan. T-Series shared the announcement teaser with the caption, “When the hit duo from 90s will meet the newage sweethearts, a fun ride will unfold. #Ghudchadi a rom-com drama goes on floors today.” The production house also shared a couple of photos with the film’s team as they began shooting for it. However, it seems Raveena hasn’t yet started working on the film as she was missing from pictures shared by T-Series.

    She ruled the 1990s with her effortless performances and swept the audiences off their feet with her dance moves, and now actress Raveena Tandon is all set to make her digital debut with Netflix’s upcoming crime thriller Aranyak, where she will be seen playing a police officer. The series spotlights the hardships and prejudices female officers’ face as they try to strike a balance between their work and personal lives. The over two-minute-long trailer was unveiled in Lonavla. Set in the dense forest, Raveena plays a local cop, who all her life waits for a “big case” and one fine day a news of a teenage tourist’s murder shakes her up and she joins forces with her city-bred replacement, Angad, played by Parambrata Chatterjee, to solve the case. As the two struggle to find the serial killer, a forgotten folklore is revived. The trailer also features Ashutosh Rana, Meghna Mali and Zakir Hussain.

    The 47-year-old actress will be seen playing a ‘fierce’ officer named Kasturi Dogra and says her “character in itself is so strong she would reach out to you anyhow.”

    Raveena added: “She’s a fiercely independent, super-talented cop, who is waiting for an opportunity to excel in her life. She’s surrounded by her male counterparts, wants to achieve something in her career and the way we women juggle our career, lives, emotional support that we get or don’t get from home.”

    Raveena barred from promoting her film ‘Maatr’?

    Raveena Tandon has been requested by Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) not to promote her upcoming film ‘Maatr’, as the film’s producer Anjum Rizvi is yet to get his dues for a past project – the remake of Sai Paranjpye’s ‘Katha’.

    The 2016 film starred Manish Paul, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Sharmila Mandre and was directed by Khalid Mohamed.

    Joint secretary of CINTAA Amit Behl had said that previously, a non-cooperation notice had been issued by CINTAA against Anjum, who had then promised to clear off the dues as soon as his next film kicked off.
