Bam Bam Bhole: Salman, Rashmika unleash Holi cheer

The latest musical offering from Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, has arrived in the form of the vibrant song Bam Bam Bhole. The song perfectly captures the essence of Holi, presenting a kaleidoscope of colors and energy. The song’s release on March 11 has been perfectly timed with the upcoming Holi celebrations, setting the tone for the vibrant festival of colours just days in advance.
Pritam has given music to the song. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Sameer Anjaan, with Shaan and Dev Negi crooning the number. The energetic track is bursting with contagious rhythms and an electrifying atmosphere, showcasing Salman’s screen presence and dynamic dance moves. Rashmika Mandanna joins him. The video also shows Kajal Aggarwal, but she doesn’t join him for a dance.
The song perfectly harmonises with the festive essence, creating a visually stunning spectacle that embodies the joy and vibrancy of the celebration.
The song’s release has generated significant buzz among fans, with many hailing it as the ultimate Holi anthem. However, some fans have raised speculation about a potential plot twist, sparking debate about whether Rashmika’s character might meet a tragic end in the film.
“Rashmika ka character marne wala hai film mai confirmed hai (Rashmika’s character will die in the film. It is confirmed now),” one wrote, with another mentioning, “I think Rashmika die in the movie! It seems like sallu imagining she is there with him”.
One fan shared, “Looks like Rashmika’s character is not present physically in the song’s setting and It’s just @BeingSalmanKhan visualising her in #BamBamBhole, Director sahab @ARMurugadoss what have you done”.
“#SalmanKhan & #RashmikaMandanna Pair looks fresh onscreen?,” one comment read. Another one shared, “Perfect Holi Dance number”.
Salman’s Sikandar will be released in theatres on Eid 2025. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandanna. The plot of the film is being kept under wraps. The film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
There were rumours around the film being a remake of Vijay’s Sarkar, with some social media users getting reminded of Prashanth Neel’s Prabhas-starrer Salaar. However, director AR Murugadoss came forward to set the record straight.
“This is a completely original story. Every scene, every frame of Sikandar has been designed and executed with authenticity, offering a fresh narrative and experience. It’s not a remake or adaptation of any existing film,” Murugadoss said, adding, “An essential part of the film’s originality is its stunning background score, crafted by the immensely talented Santosh Narayanan. His music perfectly complements the film’s energetic tone and vibrant visuals, adding an emotional depth that enhances every scene”.

In conversation with Faridoon Shahryar for Connect FM Canada, Amul revealed, “We all are aware that Salman Khan has an extended cameo in the film.” He added, “Shah Rukh coming (in a film) is a big event anyway and if Salman is in an extended cameo in the film, it’s not a five minute role, it’s a twenty minute role apparently.” When Shah Rukh Khan hosted an Instagram live  in June, the actor said that Salman is a part of Pathaan. “We haven’t done a full-fledged film together apart from Karan Arjun, which also was not full-fledged as we were not together in it for too long. So, we get to work four-five days in a year sometimes. Last two years have been fantastic as I got to be in one of his films. I had a couple of days role with Kabir Khan. And he came in Zero and did a song with me. Now, in Pathaan. I don’t know if this is a secret but inshallah, I will try to in Tiger 3 also. So, it is great fun working with him,” he said.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are currently busy filming Tiger 3. The pair will be heading to Russia on Wednesday in order to shoot the international portions of the actioner. Salman and Katrina will be filming in at least five different locations abroad, including Austria and Turkey.

However, the pandemic is still a big part of our lives, and to avoid any untoward incident, producer Aditya Chopra has decided to fly his Tiger 3 team in a jumbo charter.

“YRF is chartering everyone including Salman, Katrina, director Maneesh Sharma, the entire cast and crew for this intense international leg that will see the team pull off some spectacular shooting schedules. The direction team under Maneesh has prepped for months for this schedule, and Aditya Chopra is clear that the shoot needs to happen smoothly,” a source revealed. Adding that the Maneesh Sharma directorial will see the duo perform never-seen-before action scenes, the source further stated, “Salman and Katrina will land in Russia first and then head to multiple shooting destinations like Turkey and Austria. • Sofia slams Salman, says she deliberately didn’t share Bigg Boss stage with him

Former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat has slammed actor Salman Khan, revealing that she chose not to appear on stage at the Bigg Boss finale with Salman because ‘(her) morality and truth is stronger than (her) ego’. Sofia was one of the contestants on Bigg Boss 7 in 2013. Taking to Instagram, Sofia shared several pictures of herself and wrote a long note on Salman ‘using the same tricks’ before releasing a film. In her note, she also asked, “Isn’t it about time you cast a girl your own age to star opposite you?” She wrote, “Salman Khan has been using the same tricks every time he releases a movie. He releases on Eid, using the religious festivity as a promotional day, profiting from a spiritual day. He also releases the same clichéd story lines, same cheesy looks to camera, same clichéd girl meets boy story, (always using a younger model each time, isn’t it about time you cast a girl your own age to star opposite you?), and same clichéd cheesy lines. What he has not done is to grow. His audiences have clearly grown and are fed up with the same regurgitated story lines that are quite clearly brain numbing, even watching the trailer of Radhe, I thought, haven’t I seen all of this before?”

Blackbuck poaching case: Salman gets respite in arm license case from Jodhpur court

JAIPUR (TIP): In the infamous blackbuck poaching case of 1998, the District and Sessions Court Jodhpur Metropolitan, on February 11, dismissed the two petitions of the Rajasthan government that alleged that Salman Khan, a Bollywood star, had submitted a false affidavit in connection with the arms act case and blackbuck poaching case. “The Jodhpur District and Session Court Judge Raghavendra Kachawal dismissed both the pleas of the state government after pronouncing the 18-page judgement, Salman’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat told TIP on telephone from Jodhpur. “Salman appeared in the said case through a video conference (virtual appearance) before the judge as per the court directive when the judgement was announced in the court “, Saraswat who was present with the Public Prosecutor Lada Ram Vishnoi, said.

On June 19, 2019, Jodhpur’s Lower Court CJM-Rural had rejected the Rajasthan government’s two pleas alleging that Salman made a false affidavit in connection with the arm’s license in the blackbuck poaching case under section 340 of Cr. PC.The government appealed in the District and Sessions Court where the judgement was pronounced on February 11.

    Background

In December 2006, a plea was made in the local court here asking it to hear an application that alleged that Salman had provided misleading information about his arms license. “Salman submitted an affidavit in the trial court during the hearing of the case against him under the Arms Act that his arm license was missing. But during the same period, it was produced in the commissioner’s office in Mumbai for renewal”, the prosecution had told the court.

On January 18, 2017, CJM had acquitted Salman in the arms case under sections 3/25 and 3/27 of the arms act saying he (Salman) used the firearms with expired license in the poaching of black buck at Kankani near Jodhpur on October 1-2, 1998. Whereas the petition challenging Salman’s affidavit on missing arm license filed by the prosecution in 2006 was not decided with the arm act verdict.

A case was registered against Khan under Arms act in October 1998 for allegedly possessing arms without a valid license during the alleged poaching of black bucks at Kankani village near Jodhpur. The case was filed by the forest department.

On April 2018, after 19 years of legal battle, a CJM courtsentenced the Bollywood star Salman Khan to five years in jail and Rs.10,000 fine in the October 1998 blackbuck poaching case, while acquitted five co-accused including four stars Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre under section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. Salman then appealed the judgment in the higher court after getting bail in 2018.
