Champions of Change is an Indian award for promoting Gandhian values, community service and social development. It was founded in 2011.

Shilpa Shetty gifts herself a plush vanity van on birthday
Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty is celebrating her 47th birthday today. On the big occasion, she has gifted herself a brand new vanity van. The black luxurious looking van also sports her initials ‘SSK’ on the front. Designed for her taste, the vanity also has a yoga deck apart from other amenities.
Shilpa Shetty‘s team informed that the actor gifted herself a brand new vanity van with ‘a kitchenette, hair wash station, and most importantly, a yoga deck’. “Fitness is very important to her and she wants to ensure that even when she is on the move, she can practice yoga within the comforts of her own vanity van,” they said. The birthday girl is awaiting the release of Nikamma, that’s set to release on June 17. The comedy will also star Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Sethia. Apart from the film, Shilpa Shetty is also looking forward to making her OTT debut with Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force. Directed and produced by Rohit Shetty, the action series has been set up at streaming service Prime Video and is headlined by Shershaah star Sidharth Malhotra, who will play a Delhi Police officer.

Raj Kundra, arrested in porn case
Businessman Raj Kundra, the husband of actor Shilpa Shetty, was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Monday night in a case related to the production and streaming of porn films. He has been remanded to police custody till July 23.

Raj was booked under IPC Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays), and relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, an official told PTI.

Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal-starrer Hungama 2 to release on an OTT
The sequel to the hit 2003 comedy movie Hungama, Hungama 2 will release on a major streaming platform, the makers shared on Monday. Hungama 2 features Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan and Pranitha Subhash in the lead roles.
Although the film was made for theatres, the makers have decided to go the digital way because cinema halls are shut due to the ongoing second wave of Covid-19. With no guarantee when theatres would finally reopen, producer Ratan Jain shared in a statement that he wanted the audience to enjoy the comedy caper from the comfort of their home.
“Hungama 2 is a lighthearted film meant to be enjoyed across all age groups, and we feel it will entertain the audiences and bring some cheer in these trying times. We will release the film on a digital platform this year and movie lovers can enjoy the laugh riot at the comfort of their homes. We have made Hungama 2 with utmost love and we are confident that our film will bring a smile to people’s faces,” said Jain.
The team had finished shooting the movie earlier this year.
Directed by Priyadarshan, Hungama 2 also features Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Manoj Joshi and Ashutosh Rana in significant parts. The film has been co-produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain, and Armaan Ventures. The release date of the Priyadarshan directorial is yet to be announced.
