Sofía Vergara opened up she felt “worried” and insecure while filming sex scenes for the 2024 crime drama ‘Griselda.’ During a Netflix FYSEE event on June 2, the Emmy nominee, 51, shared the experience of shooting intimate scenes for the miniseries was one of the times she felt out of her comfort zone, per The US Sun.
Portraying Griselda Blanco, the mastermind behind one of the most lucrative drug cartels in history, Vergara navigated the complexities of the character’s life and death in ‘The Cocaine Godmother.’
“I don’t think I’ve ever done like, a sex scene,” she confessed, noting the absence of such scenes in ‘Modern Family’ alongside co-star Ed O’Neill.
“I’m 50! I mean, when I was 30, I wouldn’t have worried. I think I was worried that I was going to look horrific.”
She admitted, “I was like, ‘Where are they shooting me? The cellulite? From the side.’ Uh, I’m vain I guess. That one kept me awake I think.”
The Hot Pursuit actress acknowledged that the scenes “came out good.”
“It’s really dark and Andy [Baiz], the director, is very artistic and he made me feel super comfortable and he’s like, ‘We’re never going to stay like a long time on you [the camera].’”
During the production phase Baiz had highlighted Vergara’s “physical transformation” as “one of the toughest aspects of the whole show”.
Vergara said, “It was in Miami in the ’70s and the ’80s. Getting the look correct was very important to me.”
“I needed to disappear.”
The Modern Family star’s hair stylish revealed, “We had five wigs, different time periods.”

Sofia Vergara showered love on her boyfriend – orthopedic surgeon doctor Justin Saliman. The actor posted a picture of him on Instagram Stories and later deleted it. Sofia also revealed that she underwent knee surgery and is currently recovering. On Sunday, Sofia took to Instagram Stories to share a picture of Justin and wrote, “If you ever get a mayor [sic] knee surgery make sure you aet a handsome doctor who will sleep with you that night!!!!”

Sofia Vergara gets temporary restraining order against alleged stalker
Actress Sofia Vergara has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker. The 51-year-old ‘Modern Family’ actress went to court to gain an order of protection for herself and her 32-year-old son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara to keep Gregory Brown away from them both after the TV star accused him of “aggressive and harassing conduct”, reports Female First UK.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, Sofia called Brown a “mentally unstable stalker” with “a delusional belief he personally knows her and has a relationship with her and her family.” She added that his “aggressive and harassing conduct” has caused her anxiety and emotional distress and made her fear for her safety.
In her filing, the actress claimed Brown made several attempts to contact her and her son including gaining unauthorised access to the gated community where she lives back in July. -

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have announced their divorce seven years after they tied the knot. As per a new report, the duo issued a statement and called it a ‘difficult decision’. The actors also urged people to give them privacy as they ‘navigate this new phase’ of their lives.

Sofia Vergara, who last week clocked her 51st birthday, is currently in Italy travelling and enjoying with her friends. She shared a string of posts on Instagram but none of them featured Joe. On July 11, a day after Sofia’s birthday Joe wished her on Instagram. Sharing their photo, he simply wrote, “Happy Birthday Sofia!!!”
Sofia and Joe tied the knot in Palm Beach, Florida in November 2015. Last year, when they celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, she shared a series of throwback photos on her social media platforms. She had captioned the post, “Love You (red heart emojis)”.
Joe, in August 2020, told PEOPLE that he felt that he made the right call by marrying Sofia. “I knew pretty quickly that I could trust her, and she knew pretty quickly that she could trust me. And we’re both the kind of people who are capable of putting the other person ahead of ourselves. I was capable of putting her wishes ahead of mine, whatever they were, and she was capable of doing the same. Once you have that, you don’t let go of it. My instincts about her were right.”
