Zendaya and Tom Holland are reportedly engaged. A source close to the couple told TMZ that Tom proposed at one of Zendaya’s family homes during the holiday season. The source said, “Tom went down on one knee in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States. We’re told Tom didn’t make a huge show of the engagement – it wasn’t a big, over-the-top proposal – instead, it was very romantic and intimate.”
Another source told PEOPLE that everyone close to the couple was aware an engagement was imminent, but no one knew exactly when it would happen. According to the source, Tom Holland had been eager to propose for some time. “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special,” the source said, adding that the actor shared the exciting news with friends around New Year.
As for their wedding plans, the couple intends to take their time. “They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding,” the source shared. “They are both busy with work projects. Tom has always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it’s official – she really is!” the source concluded.
ICYDK, Zendaya sparked engagement rumours at the 82nd edition of the Golden Globe Awards, after appearing on the red carpet with a diamond ring on her left hand. The actress, nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Challengers, stunned in a custom burnt orange satin gown by Louis Vuitton paired with matching pointed-toe pumps.
Styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach, Zendaya accessorised the ensemble with a choker necklace and high-end Bulgari jewellery, including a platinum High Jewelry necklace featuring an oval paraiba tourmaline and over 48 carats of diamonds, a matching ring and diamond stud earrings. But it wasn’t the Bulgari pieces that had fans talking – many noticed a potential engagement ring on her left ring finger.
Zendaya and Tom Holland have been romantically linked since 2021. The couple first worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.
On the work front, the couple is set to star together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, an adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, slated for release in 2026, alongside Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon.

Spider-Man star Tom Holland opens up about battling alcoholism
Actor Tom Holland, best known for playing Spider-Man on the big screen since he was a teenager, has opened up about his alcohol addiction, and subsequent sobriety. In a new interview, Holland said that as a challenge last year, he gave up drinking for a month, but realised very soon that it was ‘all that he could think about’, day and night. After continuing his challenge till June, he was a transformed person; he was sleeping better, and was less on-edge at work.
Holland appeared on the Jay Shetty podcast, where he opened up about his alcoholism, being unable to function socially in the early stages of his sobriety, and eventually finding replacements that help him continue down this path. He said that he probably inherited a taste for alcohol from his mother’s side of the family, and revealed that his mother has also given up drinking along with him. “Anyone that has a beer a day probably has a little bit of a problem,” he said.
“One of the problems with alcohol is that if you came out with alcohol right now, and alcohol wasn’t a thing, and you were like, ‘I’ve invented this drink that’ll make you either really happy, or really aggressive, or really stupid, and we’re just going to sell it to the masses’, people will be like, ‘No, mate, keep your funky juice, we don’t want that, that sounds terrible’.”
About his own journey, the actor said, “I’ve had periods in my life where I’ve given up drinking and gone back to drinking, but this time, it was just different. I really worked to change my mindset, and I asked myself, ‘Why do you drink?’ And a lot of the time, my answer would be, ‘To feel more comfortable in a social environment’. And I just put myself in those environments. I’d force myself to hang out, and go to a club, go to a bar, go to a dinner…” He admitted that he was avoiding those places in the beginning, because he didn’t feel that he could go and ‘not have a drink’, but later, he discovered that if he’s only enjoying himself when he’s drinking, he has a problem. “With me, most of it is just the ritual of cracking something open and sharing it with friends and drinking it. Whether it’s sparkling water or beer, I now can’t see a difference.” Source: Indian Express -

Tom Holland, Zendaya spotted on a date at Beyonce’s concert in Poland
Tom Holland and Zendaya, who started dating on the sets of Spider-Man: Homecoming, were seen enjoying Beyonce’s concert in Warsaw, Poland recently. In a video posted by a fan, actors Tom Holland and Zendaya are seen enjoying a concert in Warsaw, Poland, part of popstar Beyonce’s Renaissance tour. The two are seen in a relaxed mode, sporting casual outfits.
“I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work. So, long game. Probably making a movie with each other — it definitely helps when the characters are falling in love with one another, you can sort of blur the lines a little bit. That’s kind of where my rizz is at. And, you know, I’m locked up. I’m happy and in love so I’ve got no need for rizz,” Tom said in an interview to Buzzfeed.
The couple was recently in India for the launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. They arrived together in Mumbai and also enjoyed a day out with some desi hosts on a yacht. Later, they made separate appearances on the NMACC red carpet but came together once inside the venue.

Tom Holland calls his relationship with Zendaya ‘sacred’
Tom Holland and Zendaya have captured the hearts of fans worldwide as one of the most adored couples in the entertainment industry. Their star power shines brilliantly at the pinnacle of their careers. Recently, during the promotion of his upcoming psychological thriller, The Crowded Room, Tom spoke about his relationship with Zendaya. He said that they are incredibly protective of their relationship. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the Spider-Man actor said, “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of, and we want to keep it as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
He also clarified why Zendaya was not at the New York premiere of The Crowded Room, stating that she was busy. “She’s visiting her grandma. We’re two very busy people, and we’re on the opposite sides of the world at this present time, so she couldn’t come,” the actor shared. The actor also discussed being in the public eye all the time and taking a break from social media. “It’s tough when every time you leave your front door, you are working. You’re on camera. I can’t walk around New York without clicking everywhere I go. And social media was bringing that outside world into my house. I just had to get rid of it. I needed to get back to reality, remind myself of who I am and where I’m from, and just live my life as normally as possible, in my abnormal way. Which is my career, I guess,” he said.
Speaking of The Crowded Room, Holland stars opposite Amanda Seyfried. The series is written by A Beautiful Mind writer Akiva Goldsman. Tom Holland also serves as an executive producer on the 10-part series, which premiered on Apple TV+ on June 9.

Tom Holland is grateful for fans’ responses to No Way Home
Tom Holland values the enthusiastic fan reactions to Spider-Man: No Way Home more than the film’s massive box office gross. Even before its release in December, Spider-Man: No Way Home was building up to be one of the web-most slinger’s successful films.
No Way Home, which sees Holland’s Peter Parker coping with the multiverse after a spell gone bad, reintroduces various performers from previous Spider-Man films, the most noteworthy of which being Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. However, the final outcome is the most important to Holland. Holland discussed No Way Home’s enormous success in a recent interview with the BBC’s Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. He remarked that even during filming, it was evident that something exceptional was happening, but it couldn’t compare to how he feels now that the picture is out. Holland said that the fan response has moved him the most.
