NEW YORK CITY (TIP): Mayor Bill de Blasio Blasio hosted Iftar Party on 1st June at Gracie Mansion, his official residence. There was a small gathering of selected invitees which included Muslim community leaders and consul generals from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey etc.
The Mayor spoke about protecting all religions & faiths and all people from all walks of life. He emphasized that safety & protection of all New Yorkers was the primary concern of his administration.
