Embassy of India in Romania Hosts Hybrid B2B Meeting on Real Estate and Construction

BUCHAREST (TIP): Embassy hosted a Hybrid B2B Meeting on Real Estate and Construction on 13 March 2026, bringing together leading Indian exporters and Romanian companies to explore avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation.

The event commenced with special Remarks by Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania, who underscored the growing potential for collaboration in infrastructure, construction materials, and real estate development between India and Romania. Representatives from the CAPEXIL and the Trade Promotion Council of India participated actively, highlighting India’s strong manufacturing capabilities and export potential in the construction sector.

A key highlight of the session was the presentation by Mr. Vishal Acharya, who provided a detailed overview of the Bharat Buildcon exhibition one of India’s prominent platforms dedicated to the construction and building materials sector which will be held between 29th April to 2nd May 2026 in New Delhi. He highlighted that Bharat Buildcon serves as a comprehensive showcase of India’s capabilities in areas such as construction technologies, ceramics, sanitaryware, pipes, hardware, and allied infrastructure products. The exhibition brings together leading manufacturers, exporters, industry experts, and global buyers, offering a dynamic environment for networking, technology exchange, and business development. He emphasized the exhibition’s role in promoting “Brand India” globally and invited Romanian companies to actively participate, explore sourcing opportunities, and build long-term partnerships with Indian firms.

Several Indian companies, including Kera Vitrified LLP, Bandhan Pipes, Sparten Group, Black and White Hardware, Dreamtech Hardware, Milota Group, Sunhearrt Ceramix Pvt Ltd, Swar Ceramiche, and Coastal Tiles LLP, also showcased their products and expertise.

The event featured interactive B2B discussions and a Q&A session, enabling meaningful engagement between Indian exporters and Romanian firms. Participants explored potential partnerships in areas such as building materials, ceramics, pipes, and hardware solutions. The hybrid format facilitated participation from companies based in India via virtual platforms, ensuring wide representation and dynamic exchanges.
