The B2B engagement witnessed participation from established and emerging companies as well as representatives of sports authorities and institutions from both private and public sectors, reflecting strong mutual interest in expanding cooperation in sports infrastructure and equipment supply. Indian companies showcased their advanced manufacturing capabilities, diversified product portfolios, and growing footprint in international markets, expressing keen interest in expanding exports to Romania and the wider European region. Romanian companies, in turn, recognised India’s emergence as a reliable global manufacturing hub and expressed interest in sourcing partnerships, technology collaboration, and possible joint ventures in sports equipment manufacturing and distribution.

The hybrid format ensured wider accessibility and participation, with more than 35 Romanian companies attending physically at the Embassy premises and around 20 Indian companies joining virtually from across India. The format enabled real-time exchanges despite geographical distances, allowing participants to discuss regulatory requirements, certification standards, logistics, and market access considerations for entry into the European market. Indian companies also delivered detailed presentations outlining their product ranges, quality certifications, and successful export experiences in European and global markets.
