Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra , the Deputy Consul General of India in New York has always been a very welcome guest at community events. One of the latest events where he met with community representative, on March 4, was the inauguration of Prof. Indrajit Singh Saluja, Editor-Publisher of The Indian Panorama, as President of Indo-American Press Club and the felicitation of Mr. HR Shah, Chairman and CEO of TV Asia on conferment on him of one of India’s highest civilian awards, Padma Shri. In the picture, he is seen presenting a plaque to Mr. HR Shah, while the Nassau County Comptroller Mr. George Maragos (right) presented a Nassau County Citation.
