Singer Miley Cyrus attended the red carpet premiere of the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special in El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California with her fiance, Maxx Morando, and family members. The Grammy-winning singer appeared cheerful as she posed for photographers. Joining Miley at the premiere were her mother, Tish Cyrus, Tish’s husband Dominic Purcell, her sister Brandi Cyrus, and Brandi’s fiance Matt Southcombe.
Miley wore a custom-made Hannah Montana outfit featuring an imprint of her character from the original series. The event marked a reunion for the cast and crew, celebrating two decades since the show first aired on Disney Channel in 2006. The anniversary special, titled Hannahversary, will stream on Disney+ from March 24. It revisits memorable music and moments from the original series and includes never-before-seen archival footage. The show was filmed in front of a live studio audience. In the trailer of the special, Miley revisits recreated sets such as the iconic Hannah Montana closet and the Stewart family living room. She is seen exploring these locations alongside her mother, Tish Cyrus, and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. The programme also features an in-depth conversation between Miley Cyrus and Alex Cooper, host of the podcast Call Her Daddy. Cooper described the show as defining a generation. Miley responded, “This anniversary is for them. It’s for us.”
