Dhaka (tip): Indian Army Chief ManojPande paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina at her official residence here on July 21 and held talks with top military commanders on his maiden visit. The Army Chief is on a three-day visit at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed. “General ManojPande visited Defence Service Command & Staff College, Mirpur, and delivered a lecture on India’s security perspective,” the Indian High Commission in Dhaka tweeted. The Army Chief also visited and interacted with the members of the Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support and Operation Training, a premier institute of training peacekeepers for UN operations. General Pande is being accompanied by his wife ArchanaPande and a three-member delegation. He will pay tributes to Sheikh MujiburRahman at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi.
