Hindi Media Achievers Award for New York based Ashok Vyas

Prem Bhardwaj 'Gyan Bhikshu, Indrajeet Sharma, Sunil Jogi, Ashok Vyas, Ranbir Singh and Prof Satya Trivedi

NEW YORK (TIP): Vishwa Hindi Prachar Samiti, New Delhi organized a literary event at Arya Samaj, Queens.
President of the Samiti, Indrajeet Sharma welcomed poet and media personality of New York Ashok Vyas, Padma Shri awarded versatile poet Sunil Jogi, Lyricist Prof Satya Trivedi and Poet Prem Bhardwaj ‘Gyan Bhikshu’ with president of Arya Samaj, Ranbir Singh.
In his opening remarks, Ashok Vyas talked about the art of listening, significance of words for material as well as spiritual growth. Prem Bhardwaj ‘Gyan Bhikshu’ shared his inspiring poems, Sunil Jogi recited a few humorous poems as well as a song dedicated to Vedic culture. Prof Satya Trivedi also presented a melodious inspiring song with a message to embrace life with enthusiasm. Poet Bindu Agarwal also shared her humorous poem depicting the aspirations of immigrants in this land of opportunity.
Vishwa Hindi Prachar Samiti conferred awards with traditional glory, poets were offered ‘traditional Indian turban’ and ‘shawl’ with mementos. The contribution of Ashok Vyas towards Hindi literature and Indian Culture as a poet and through the media was appreciated. He has conducted thousands of interviews on ITVGold as program director for 22 years. A poet and writer Ashok has produced various spiritual programs, passionate about Dharmic studies, he is founder of Youtube Channel, Heramba Studio, where he presented a 351-episode series on Bhagwad Gita. Sunil Jogi conferred the ‘Satyamev Jayate’ award on behalf of Vishwa Hindi Prachar Samiti with Indrajeet Sharma to Bharat Gaurav awarded Ashok Vyas.
Other poets were also recognized for their significant contributions to literature at this event. Arya Samaj conducts havan every Sunday, this literary session also turned out to be a way to reinforce love and commitment for Bharat to mark ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava’. In his concluding remarks President of VHPS Indrajeet Sharma talked about importance given to mother nature in Indian Culture, referring to ‘International Environment Day’, he said, while we need to work externally to keep the environment clean, literature is very important for inner purity and sensitivity.
