  • Oil prices slide amid glut concerns, US withdrawal from climate deal

SEOUL (TIP): Oil prices dropped on Friday amid worries that U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to abandon a global climate pact could spark more crude drilling in the United States, stoking a persistent glut in global supply.

Global benchmark Brent crude futures were down 23 cents, or 0.45 percent, at $50.4 a barrel by 0316 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures dropped 26 cents, or 0.54 percent, to $48.1 per barrel.

Commodity markets were absorbing news the United States would withdraw from the landmark 2015 global agreement to fight climate change, a move that fulfilled a major campaign pledge but drew condemnation from U.S. allies.

“This could lead to a drilling free for all in the U.S. and also see other signatories waver in their commitments,” said Jeffrey Halley, a senior market analyst at OANDA.

“This outcome could increase the supply-side equation from the United States and complicate OPEC’s forward projections. A scenario that would not be favourable to oil prices.” Surging U.S. production has put a strain on OPEC members’ efforts to curb production to drain a global crude supply overhang and to prop up prices.

A week ago, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and some non-OPEC members met in Vienna to roll over the output cut deal to reduce 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd) until the end of next March.

Faced with lingering glut woes, the oil cartel also discussed last week reducing output by a further 1 to 1.5 percent, and could revisit the proposal should inventories remain high, according to sources. But oil markets were offered some support by official data that showed crude inventories in the United States, the world’s top oil consumer, fell sharply last week as refining and exports surged to record highs. Crude stockpiles were down to 6.4 million barrels in the week to May 26, beating analyst expectations for a decrease of 2.5 million barrels.

However, U.S. crude production rose to 9.34 million bpd last week, up nearly 500,000 bpd from a year ago. “We may or may not see more huge draws. But crude production is slowly but surely going to neutralize the (OPECled) production cut,” said Sukrit Vijayakar, director of energy consultancy Trifecta.

New Jersey Native Bhavesh Patel Named Chairman of AAHOA

SAN ANTONIO (TIP): New Jersey native Bhavesh Patel has been named the new chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AA1IOA) at the group’s annual convention in San Antonio, Texas. Calling it “one of the greatest accomplishments of his life,” Bhavesh Patel told the Cinnaminson Patch that AAHOA is made up of over 16,000 members who own half of the hotels in the country. “They’ve placed their trust in me to be their representative on the national stage,” he said, adding, “I’m excited to take on the responsibility and work to make AAI IOA even greater.”

Bhavesh Patel is a principal of ADM Hotels, a family-owned, full-service real estate company specializing in hospitality management, development and investments. His portfolio features several multi- brand and independent hotel properties in the northeast.

He has been on the AAHOA Board of Directors since 2009, and was elected secretary by the other members of the board in 2014. The group’s officers are elected to the position of secretary and automatically ascend to treasurer, vice chair and chair annually.

Bhavesh Patel said he wants his tenure as chairman to be marked by even greater member engagement in AAI lOA’s educational programs, one of the central pillars of the organization’s mission. “You have to know the ins and outs of running a hotel to be the best you can be.” Patel said.

AAHOA elected a new executive board during the San Antonio convention. Texas hotelier and current North Texas Regional Director Biran Patel was elected as the group’s new secretary.

A second-generation hotelier, Biran Patel began his career in the hotel industry as a teenager while his family lived at the hotel they owned. A member for more than 15 years, Biran Patel has served on five AAI IOA committees, was previously an AAHOA regional ambassador and has led North Texas as regional director since 2014, according to a AAI IOA press release.

Officers are elected to the position of secretary, and ascend through the treasurer and vice chairman roles before becoming chairman. Biran Patel will become chairman at the 2020 AAHOA convention. Other successful candidates at this year’s AAHOA elections include Piyush Patel (Director at Large); Lina Patel (Female Director at 1-arge – Eastern Division); Purvi Panwala (Young Professional Director at Urge – Eastern Division); Nitin (Nick) Patel (Alabama Panhandle Regional Director); Bharat Patel (Florida Regional Director); Girish (Gary) Patel (Gulf Regional Director); Naresh (Nick) Patel (North Central Regional Director); Sunil (Sunny) Patel (Northeast Regional Director); and Mayur (Mike) Patel (North Texas Regional Director). Georgia Regional Director Kapil (Ken) Patel, South Carolina Regional Director Mahesh (Mike) Patel, and Washington District Regional Director Vinaykumar (Vinay) Patel were re-elected.

Russian Interference in US Elections 2016: Probe Tentacles Grow

Jared Kushner Under Scrutiny in Russia Probe, Say Officials

WASHINGTON (TIP): An NBC News report said, May 25, quoting “multiple US officials” that Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and one of his senior advisers, has come under FBI scrutiny in the Russia investigation. “Investigators believe Kushner has significant information relevant to their inquiry, officials said. That does not mean they suspect him of a crime or intend to charge him”, says the NBC News. CNN said in a report on May 25, “The FBI’s criminal probe of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election is increasingly touching on the multiple roles of senior White House adviser

Jared Kushner on both the Trump campaign and the Trump transition team. “Points of focus that pertain to Kushner include: the Trump campaign’s 2016 data analytics operation; his relationship with former national security adviser Michael Flynn; and Kushner’s own contacts with Russians, according to US officials briefed on the probe”. CNN report says further:”Federal investigators have been taking a  closer look at the Trump campaign’s data analytics operation, which was supervised by Kushner, officials say, and are examining whether Russian operatives used people associated with the campaign — wittingly or unwittingly — to try to help Russia’s own data targeting.

“Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, worked with and helped oversee the campaign’s data operation contractors based in San Antonio, Texas. “Kushner has described how, beginning last June, he began testing the use of data targeting to sell Trump merchandise.

Eventually, according to a November Forbes magazine profile, the data operation helped the Trump campaign figure out where the candidate’s message was resonating in states like Michigan and Wisconsin, places where conventional political wisdom suggested they would be wasting time and money. “I called somebody who works for one of the technology companies that I work with, and I had them give me a tutorial on how to use Facebook micro-targeting,” Kushner told Forbes.

A source connected to the data analytics group said the team has not been contacted about any Russia related probe. “We have not been contacted by anyone and don’t know anything formally about an investigation,” the source said.

The FBI focus on Flynn also touches on Kushner because he led the presidential transition’s foreign policy efforts. Kushner’s impact grew during the transition, which one source says he effectively ran — along with another campaign aide Rick Dearborn — once New Jersey Gov Chris Christie was removed. This source says both Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump wanted Flynn in as national security adviser. A source close to Kushner denied that he pushed for Flynn. Kushner has acknowledged meeting during the transition with Russia’s ambassador and separately with the head of a Russian bank.

According to a source familiar with what transpired, neither meeting discussed sanctions but instead focused on establishing a backchannel to Russia’s president. Those meetings are of interest to the FBI.

The FBI’s scrutiny of Kushner places the bureau’s sprawling counterintelligence and criminal investigation not only on the doorstep of the White House, but the Trump family circle. The Washington Post first reported last week that a senior White House official close to Trump was a “person of interest,” but did not name the person. The term “person of interest” has no legal meaning. The officials said Kushner is in a different category from former Trump aides Paul Manafort and Michael Flynn, who are formally considered subjects of the investigation.

According to the Justice Department’s U.S. Attorneys’ Manual, “A ‘subject’ of an investigation is a person whose conduct is within the scope of the grand jury’s investigation.”

Records of both Manafort and Flynn have been demanded by grand jury subpoenas, NBC News has reported. It is not known whether Kushner has received any records requests from federal investigators. Also unclear is what precisely about Kushner’s activities has drawn the FBI’s interest as it investigates whether Trump associates coordinated with the Russian campaign to interfere in the election. Former

FBI Director Robert Mueller is now leading the probe as a special counsel. Kushner met at least once in December with the Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak, and he also met last year with a Russian banker, Sergey Gorkov.

“Mr. Kushner previously volunteered to share with Congress what he knows about these meetings,” Kushner’s lawyer, Jamie Gorelick, told NBC News. “He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry.”

Congressional aides have said they would like to question Kushner about that meeting, and Kushner has said he would voluntarily appear before the Senate intelligence committee as part of its Russia investigation.

Gorkov is chairman of VneshEconomBank, a Russian governmentowned institution that has been under U.S. sanctions since July 2014. Gorkov studied at the training school for the FSB, one of Russia’s intelligence services.

Kushner, whose family’s real estate empire is worth $1.8 billion, according to Forbes, wields significant power in the White House. He is married to Trump’s daughter, Ivanka.

  • The Threat from Problematic Organizations and Cults

The Threat from Problematic Organizations and Cults

“I remain hopeful that proper actions can be undertaken to help preserve a welcoming, ethical, tolerant, and legal religious environment in the USA. We are a religious nation, yet also a nation of laws. Religious freedom must not be used as an excuse or cover to inflict abuse and commit crimes. That is not what our laws provide for”, says the anonymous author.

    BY AN ANONYMOUS AMERICAN HINDU

I was born a Hindu in India, in a traditional Hindu family. A temple offered me some of my earliest memories. I became a US Citizen many years ago along with my parents. My parents were first generation immigrants to America, who arrived in the 70’s after my father was accepted into a PHD program. I now reside in Houston, Texas along with my immediate and extended family. We have had a long journey and a good life overall. While we are all American through and through, we have remained very traditional in many respects.

My parents always stressed that we should all take the best from two cultures, two countries, while doing our best to keep out the bad. Therefore, I was very fortunate to have been raised in a traditional Hindu family as the son of Indian immigrants who stressed family, education, and traditional Hindu family/spiritual values.

I have watched how the Indian community in the US has grown and changed from the early 1970’s. Our faith is vital to our daily lives and we seek to engage in right action (karma) and to do our duty in life (dharma). Things have changed drastically over the years in the Indian American/Hindu community overall. Many traditional Hindus such as myself find have lived in America for many years. Meanwhile, a wave of “New Religious Movements” (NRM’s) has flooded America. Many of these groups are in fact “destructive cults”, operating fraudulent charities (501c’s) here in the US and globally. Is this Hinduism or any other religion per se? No. Many of them only use the “cloak of religion”. An extreme example is ISIS, which has very little to do with religion at all. ISIS is in fact a destructive cult, with brainwashing as a key ingredient in its power to mold impressionable minds.

Allowing this plethora of destructive “guru” cults has very damaging economic, social, and religious impacts for America and all Americans. They have the potential to lead to a national if not global crisis. These are not just questions of faith. This also has national security implications, especially since criminality is involved. Many of these groups work with criminal elements within the US. Meanwhile, Americans and primarily Indian Americans continue to be harmed and divided. Our society must not allow for such negative influences here in the United States of America. Tremendous negative consequences will ensue if we do nothing and allow this to persist. Even American companies and prestigious academic institutions are being severely influenced by the propaganda and money that is used to fund these operations. Some even have “MOUs” with these destructive organizations or cults. So, there are such business alliances involved. It is a very sophisticated web that has been woven, especially since the late 1980’s. Yet, the roots go back much further back into at least the late 1800’s. There are billions of dollars and deep seated corruption linked to many of these NRM’s/cults. They are receiving assistance from many special interests and political allies.

Meanwhile, social media and even IT hackers play key roles in “recruitment”, as well as systematic harassment of those that oppose their efforts. Those that are critical or acting to stop their criminal enterprises are often targeted by illegal means, so law enforcement must by brought in to mount the effort to combat them. Many people in authority, in government and otherwise, have seemingly been swayed or lured into providing begrudging support. Other are simply looking the other way, in purposeful ignorance. Some in our community are going along with all this simply for political or monetary reasons. This is away to grab power as well. Many first-generation immigrants from India and South Asia have always known full well what has been occurring. Now, their children are also getting wrapped up in this nexus.

These groups with connections to India have formed a strategic alliance with New Religious Movements (NRMs). These cults often have Indian “gurus” (teachers) as leaders/figureheads of the destructive cults. In this way, the Indian community here in the US is being split badly and harmed. There is much corruption, fraud, and in fact criminal activity connected with many of these 501(c) organizations. They are typically for profit businesses hiding behind charity/non-profit status. Often the 501(c) have devotees run businesses as registered agents, and then the money simply gets funneled back to the 501(c). The businesses run by such fraudulent 501(c)’s are utilized for recruitment as well financial and tax fraud. There is also immigration fraud, tax fraud, slave labor and much criminal activity linked to many of these destructive cults. In this way, they do significant personal damage to their followers or devotees. They also thereby harm extended families and friends of devotees, who are slowly transformed into slaves of the organization. Even God and family slowly comes second to the destructive cult.

These problematic organizations take in huge cash donations and they do not have independently audited financial statements. They also take in donations such as gold and ask for property to be willed to these so-called charities. Just how much “charity” is actually being done? Are the donations being audited and traced from source to destination? No, they are not. If there is a way to make money off their devotees and their lives, these groups will do it. Then, where is that money going? What are the money flows globally? A complete list of these destructive groups would be very long. There are many splinter groups or small groups that copy the formulas of the largest most lucrative destructive cults. Many of these groups in fact disparage “traditional” or “Vedic” Hinduism, or simply copy the principle and text from ancient texts in the public domain. They then monetize it all. There are groups in the USA now attempting to recast Hinduism in a new problematic way here in the USA, in India, and worldwide. This is part of a larger effort to make spirituality more lucrative for a select few, at the expense of the general Hindu population. The future of the Hindu religion is at stake in the US. Many honest and devout Hindus simply want to practice our ancient faith, which has been passed down from thousands of years ago by our ancestors. Such Hindus are traditional in their practice of the faith, in that they do not attempt to convert others into their faith and they cannot be converted to some other faith. Traditionally, Hinduism is simply not a missionary religion. That is one of its strengths and key features. In this manner, it has influenced all the other major religions of the world, through sheer strength of the ideas contained in the world’s most ancient religion.

Sanskrit, the language of the Hindu texts, is the world’s oldest surviving language. Will we allow Hinduism to be taken over by powerful, money interests and fake gurus while it heads towards a future of continued corruption and serious crimes? The damage would certainly not be easily contained to our Indian American community, since active Americans in these cults are very often Americans born in the USA. These cults impact and influence the communities around them in a myriad of ways, fostering criminal activity, significant social costs, and the weakening of the fabric of our society. What are we leaving behind for our children that are growing up in the USA? What will be left for them to aspire to? How will they practice Hinduism if we are not good stewards of our faith? This entire nexus that I speak of uses “religion” or “spirituality” to cloak very bad motives and efforts. Yet, this will not be allowed to continue if enough Americans stand up and say no, not in the U.S.A., not in our country. The US Constitution allows for religious freedom, yet not when such organizations engage in criminal behavior and actively harm devotees, by utilizing brainwashing, fraud and various concerted, systematic efforts. There are many devotees today that are secretly being abused and they have no voice. No one is helping these folks. I also suspect that many minors are being harmed, especially the ones who have parents that live at the sites of these organizations. Many children end up with no protection at all and are abused unfortunately, by gurus and others. Unless corrective actions are taken to change these dynamics and shut down such organizations, we will pay huge societal costs as a nation. Meanwhile, some reap rewards while many do absolutely nothing. There are those too afraid to even speak out, for fear of retribution, especially since they may have friends and family involved with such groups. These cults are also very vindictive by their very nature, casting those that are critics as being biased, dishonest, or intolerant of other “faiths”. Yet, freedom of religion does not offer protection for criminal and civil wrongs in America. The American public and the citizens that are served by our Government has a right to know these things and to be fully informed of what exactly is at play. For far too long, there has not been a proper airing of these issues. They should be exposed to the light of day, especially since many end up unwittingly giving their money and lives to these groups. Our community and society at large has a fundamental, legal right to be protected from these groups. This issue cuts across all religions and countries. It impacts Hindus, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, and Muslims alike.

This problem has only continued for decades now, especially since the 50’s and 60’s when there was a large uptick in destructive cult activity. The USA has more cults per capita than any other country in the world. Please reference the exhaustive work done by Drs. Lifton and Singer. Dr. Robert Lifton is an American psychiatrist and noted author. His studies of destructive cults, the psychological causes and effects of war and political violence, as well as his theory of thought reform are very pertinent to the study of these organizations. Dr. Lifton is also an expert on psychohistory. Meanwhile, Dr. Margaret Singer was a clinical psychologist and researcher. She was a very prominent figure in the study of undue influence in social and religious contexts. Dr. Singer interviewed over 3,000 cult followers, family members of cult followers, and friends of cult followers while contributing so much to our understanding of how destructive cults operate. Dr. Singer’s primary areas of research included coercive persuasion, schizophrenia, family therapy, and brainwashing. Also, see the legal work done by famous Attorney Paul Morantz as background research. He has prosecuted numerous cults over the last several decades. Also see the information outlined by the “Cult Education Institute” run by Dr. Rick Ross, and the international group, ICSA. The Rick Ross website has the largest archive of information on cults available online. Both Rick Ross and Paul Morantz are certified experts in this field. Both are FBI consultants as well.

Relying on academia, such as religious scholars and “spiritual leaders” is not sufficient, since these issues involve other disciplines such as the legal field, psychiatry, psychology, and sociology as well. Furthermore, many religious scholars are muted in their criticism of such groups, since academia in the USA has been infiltrated by them, through moneyed interests. Furthermore, “spiritual leaders” are often protective of NRM’s that use the very same destructive cult formulas they employ. Commonly these destructive cults put their devotees through four stages: love bombing, then confessional, followed by indoctrination/brainwashing, and finally significant “exit costs”. Once immersed in such groups, followers find it very difficult to return to their “old lives”, especially since their old self has been obliterated and cognitive dissonance has set in. Information that is contrary to their new belief system is often simply disregarded by cult followers. Followers of destructive cults must be treated with sympathy as they are victims of these organizations, yet it is critical to understand how these groups and their followers operate.

The brainwashing of many people by such cults or “spiritual organizations” continues, and there are Westerners, Indians, and people from all backgrounds being harmed spiritually, financially, physically and emotionally. This nexus that operates and in effect harms and subverts Hinduism and the Indian community in America is now being exposed through books, articles, and social media. Yet, awareness is not enough. More must be done, through corrective action as well. Many victims are simply silenced and too afraid to even report the crimes involved. These are uncomfortable truths. There are so many silent victims, searching and eager for a way out. Meanwhile, many are striving to install as many cult leaders as possible and to grow their “followings” through internet recruitment and direct personal contact, often in social settings or even at temples and community events. Much of this is driven by the billions of dollars being generated and the significant corruption that is intertwined with it all. I remain hopeful that proper actions can be undertaken to help preserve a welcoming, ethical, tolerant, and legal religious environment in the USA. We are a religious nation, yet also a nation of laws. Religious freedom must not be used as an excuse or cover to inflict abuse and commit crimes. That is not what our laws provide for. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out and read this article. May God bless us all, no matter the religion, and may God bless the United States of America!

  • Man fatally shoots boss, kills himself in US

Man fatally shoots boss, kills himself in US

HOUSTON (TIP): An unidentified man shot dead his woman boss before killing himself, leading to chaos in a multi-storey building in the northern part of US city of Dallas, police said.

The Dallas police responded to a report of an active shooter in an office building in the 8300 block of the LBJ Freeway at around 10.45am (local time) yesterday.

When officers arrived on the scene, they suspected the shooter was in a meeting room. They breached the door by firing a shotgun, authorities said.

Officers found a man and a woman dead in the room. It appears the man shot and killed the woman and then turned the gun on himself, police said.

The woman was the supervisor of the gunman, they said. As the incident unfolded, television footage showed a heavy police response including a SWAT team at the office building along an interstate.

A broken window could be seen on one of the upper floors of the building.

“(Officers) went inside the office where the shooting was taking place, and they discovered that the possible shooter was inside a particular office in a meeting room,” Asst Chief Randy Blankenbaker said.

“The officers were forced to utilise a shotgun to breach the front office door,” he said.

Blankenbaker said the victim and suspect will not be identified until the next of kin are notified.

Investigators said there were multiple witnesses in the building at the time of the shooting and were taken to police headquarters for questioning.

The building was declared to be safe around 12.49pm (local time).

Pictures of the crime scene show dozens of people outside the building being evacuated. Another photo shows a busted out window on the far edge of the property.

One officer was injured due to broken glass during the search and was taken to the hospital, the police department’s Twitter account said. (PTI)

Bill To Designate Pakistan As A Terrorist State Moved In US

In a humiliating setback to Islamabad ahead of PM Nawaz Sharif’s speech before the UN General Assembly, two American lawmakers have introduced legislation in the US Congress to designate Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism.

The bill was moved by Congressman Ted Poe, a Republican member of the House of Representatives from Texas, jointly with Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican from California who heads the House’s sub-committee on Europe, Eurasia and emerging threats.

If enacted, the Bill will require the President to give a report to Congress within 90 days on whether Pakistan had supported international terrorism, or not. Within 30 days thereafter, the secretary of state will either determine Pakistan is a state sponsor of terrorism, or say why not.

This is not the first time that there is talk of formally designating Pakistan a terrorist state. Such a measure was earlier discussed in 1993 after Pakistan engineered the Mumbai serial blasts. But, Islamabad escaped punishment by pretending to be an ally in the war on terror.

Consul General Dr Ray in speech said it is a good time to be a diplomat in the US and this is evident from the fact that a few days ago on the same day the US Secretary of State was in India and the Indian Defense Minister was in Washington.

Both countries were talking about issues like defense, cybersecurity, increase in trade, he said.

“When you do business in India you are essentially doing business with a country that is more like the US than many countries in the world”, Ray said.

Houston Mayor Sylvestor Turner said the Indian presence in Houston makes it the most diverse city in America.

More than 700 companies in Houston do business with India.

  • Mother of the Universe

    Mother of the Universe

In the skies of Yugoslavia, a Star was born in the year Nineteen Ten –
Who had shunned the world with “beaming luster” really since then!
Darkness in the horizon was speechless and quietly spellbound,
By the brightness of a single Star that nowhere could be found!
Later, the brightness became brighter, when the star landed on the earth –
And declared her presence in the middle of throng by virtue of her birth!

Lust for the material world suddenly became so calm,
And crawled under the shadow of a strong tiny palm!
The voice of welcome was echoed through the loud ringing bell,
To focus the ‘only message’ that history is now so proud to tell!

Brightness of this single ‘Star’ was watched closely by the God –
And he changed her to a ‘Saint’ quickly with a very simple nod!
Thus Agnes Bojaxhiu was born as ‘Mother Teresa’ of the universe –
And became so synonymous in every house without any rehearse!
Through the years and throughout the world, she had to fly –
To preach: joy of giving is always a pleasure and will multiply!
Today, our Mother is resting in the heaven, but the legacy lives on –
And reminds her passions for hungry and poor, from dusk until dawn.

    Hello, Mother, please accept our deepest love and respect;
Your absence is truly unbelievable and really heartfelt.
We have kept in our hearts a “Special Spot” just for you,
‘Cause your lessons are immortal and draw the global view.
You achieved your “Spot” through sacrifice and enormous tolls –
And they are still vivid, around the world, in everyone’s souls!
Via untiring patience, you have served the poorest of the poor –
Who found solace in your touch before heading towards the heaven’s door.
Your innocent smiles have stirred up the hearts of all,
And the world will remember you always without your call!

Your soft unspoken tender love and the glittering eye –
Shine at the whole universe, and never say good-bye!
Your courage was awesome, in the tales it can be found –
And tears still pour in, globally, to make us spellbound!
You never gave up your efforts and had unlimited patience,
‘Cause Lord gave you His strength to exert your persistence!
You won the Nobel Prize but spent the money for a worthy cause,
So the world bows down to respect your deed without any pause!

From us, today, you are wandering freely very far away –
But offering us lessons while keeping your mind at bay!
Your strength and struggle for poor are deeply felt everywhere –
Around the globe, in oceans, in soils, and in open atmosphere!
Be assured that your memories will be with us at all the time,
And direct us in the darkness and even when the winds chime!

Today, we float our broken minds immersed in dew moistened tear –
To display our deep affections for you, Mother, without any fear.
We will carry on your untiring efforts with blind folded eye,
Without any set back or hesitation and uncompromised vie.
Mother, our hearts are now crying alone in daylight and darkness,
But vividly remember your tender love with the natural harness!
Now, the whole world has neatly placed your name in concrete stone,
And we are so blessed with each and every touch of your intriguing bone!

So, before conclusion, we love to say this,
Although it’s too late but very true, as it is –
You served the “poorest of the poor” around the world for 70 years,
And removed their agonies via “magic touch” and wiping their tears!
Today, your love and sacrifice stunningly span around the earth,
Although the Yugoslavia was the sacred place of your holy birth!
Mother, you were a “Citizen of the World” and will be missed by all,
But your simple motto, love and peace, will stand pretty tall!
You are the “Mother of the Universe” and our eternal guiding light –
To lead us all in the direction of God, without loosing the sight!
You will shine forever like a viable “Rising Sun” in the Far East,
So bright, so generous, so gentle, and so polite to say the least!
The aspects of your glorious life are too simple and straight,
And they’ll remind us old reminiscence even after the “sunset”!!

    MADRE DELL’UNIVERSO
    (In Memoria di Madre Teresa; 26 Agosto 1910 – 5 Settembre 1997)

Il buio all’orizzonte rimase senza parole, in attonito silenzio,

Agnes Bojaxhiu divenne così Madre Teresa dell’Universo,

Hai conquistato quel posto col tuo sacrificio e dolore,

Porteremo avanti i tuoi sforzi senza guardare in faccia nessuno,
senza fermarci, senza esitare, senza compromesso alcuno.

    lucente, generosa, gentile e sorridente!
