Founder and President of the EFA Dr. Raju traveled to London to conduct the first ever meeting of the UK Board

NEW YORK / LONDON (TIP): Dr. VK Raju, founder and president of the Eye Foundation of America recently traveled to London to conduct the first board meeting of the Eye Foundation of America (UK).  Along with the board of directors he had a dinner meeting with friends of The Eye Foundation of America (UK).

In a conversation with The Indian Panorama editor Prof. Indrajit Saluja, Dr. Raju said he made a lot of new friends who showed enormous interest in the foundation and its dream of a world without childhood blindness. “It is just the beginning in UK”, he said.

Dr. Raju was a guest of embassy of Uzbekistan and attended Uzbekistan’s 30th Independence Day celebration at Lords. The Eye Foundation of America UK is involved in preventing and treating childhood blindness and beyond in Uzbekistan.
